IMDb took $16.99 when I had already canceled my account. I had my Cash App card attached to my IMDb Pro account, thus having to play Russian roulette and keep it disabled because IMDb kept trying to get money out for an already CANCELED account. Suffice it to say, I forgot to disable my card today and IMDb finally snatched the money from my card. I'm fuming as that money is to get some much needed items for my mother who's in a nursing home. This is the last thing I need right now, and all I'll be offered for this huge inconvenience is a refund which will probably take X amount of business days, if I get a refund at all. I have any/all screenshots you need for me to prove that I had canceled my account and yet, billing persisted on trying to take $16.99 for something I no longer want to subscribe to.

I am a student, I signed up to IMDb Pro when I was on an unpaid internship because my boss needed me to. I signed up with my Amazon account, didn't receive a reminder to cancel before I was charged and now $150 were taken out of my student bank account.
I saw from previous conversations that a refund can be granted by Reps on here, in particular I saw by a guy named Steve (https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/people/steve_ff3mbulxit6tr).
I am happy to pay for the first month as it was my mistake, but not an annual membership as I will no longer use it and haven't after the first few days of the free trial.
Can someone help, please?

I cancelled my membership last year, but was alerted in November that I would receive one month of membership free. I did speak to someone, or rather, I emailed IMDBPRO and had some correspondence about the free month and I was very specific that I did not wish to renew after the month was over. I am unsure why in January, I was billed for an annual membership. I needed surgery in December and returned in January. I might have realized I was billed sooner but I was still in pretty bad shape. Also, the credit card charged was not mine but my Mother's. And she absolutely did not authorize this. Again, I am not sure what happened, but I have not even used IMDBPro this past year. Please help me. I go back to the hospital for another surgery in the next week and would very much appreciate this being handled before I do. Finances are very stressful right now. I never intended to renew for the year, I thought it was just 1 month free. I'd love to come back to the service, but I can't afford to right now, and I am unable to walk or stand, so my need for the profile at this time, is not needed. PLEASE HELP. Just because i logged in through Amazon Prime , and my card is synched with it , my money is deducted from my account.
This is highly unacceptable. I don't want any subscription from IMDb . Neither I'm interested to spend money on it nor I've approved any transaction from my account . How the hell you can deduct my money from it.
I want my money back as soon as possible . Just now I saw that my account is null , i realised money has been deducted from somewhere. And when I started looking for it , I was shocked to see this. It's highly unprofessional and unethical from IMDb .
Hence , I strongly recommend you to contact me and clear it out once and for all. Waiting for my money to get back in my account .
Or else I've no Option but to raise my voice on social media and Respective medium from where I can get justice . Amount 5000 INR

I'm a student, and am now out of pocket £140... I don't quite know what to do. That's a months wages for me.

First of all, I was on a 30 day trial until some days ago when I was charged an anual membership; I'd really doubt I went on to choose the anual option knowing I could get billed 150$ if I were to forget to cancel before the end of the trial considering I am only a regular person who uses Imdb pro because I follow a couple of actors closely, so my first question is, is there no way I can make sure I Indeed chose this option?
If not and I have to be billed for the next year, I don't live in the USA and therefore my payment method (a mastercard) is not accepted. It is saying I should contact my bank in this case, but I don't understand why or what I'm supposed to do, or say if I am to contact my bank. Anyone can help me?
