Merge this keywords

Months ago I edited all the entries in three different keywords to merge them into a single one in order to avoid having duplicate entries. All my editions were accepted, but the two keywords that I wanted to delete and that now have zero entries continue to appear when you search for them, besides the duplication, this also means that at any given time someone else may add the empty keywords to a new title and have titles that should be listed together in separate pages.


The three keywords that need merging are:

Arlington National Cemetery, with 37 entries: http://www.imdb.com/search/keyword?keywords=arlington-national-cemetery

Arlington Cemetery http://www.imdb.com/search/keyword?keywords=arlington-cemetery and Arlington Cemetary http://www.imdb.com/search/keyword?keywords=arlington-cemetary, both with zero entries after my edition from months ago.

It looks like they still exist?

I have a merging here myself:
Oudejaars Conference & Oudejaarsconference
http://www.imdb.com/search/keyword?keywords=oudejaarsconference

Oudejaarsconference is the right spelling and it also already has the most hits.
Oudejaars conference is wrong and can be deleted or merged.

You can do this yourself by deleting the keyword 'Gamecube' from the 10
titles that is currently attached and then adding the correct keyword in
its place. Remember to include a comment explaining what you are trying
to achieve so that our data editors know your intentions.

I have done this for you this time but in future please attempt to do this yourself.

I have these 3 that can be merged as well:

'Wii'

'Nintendo Wii System'
http://www.imdb.com/search/keyword?keywords=nintendo-wii-system

both can be merged into:
'Nintendo Wii'
http://www.imdb.com/search/keyword?keywords=nintendo-wii

It will take a lot of time to correct all those releases, might be a better idea to just merge the keywords into the last one.

Also, why do keywords get approved so easily..

Hello again, as I said previously, you can do this yourself by submitting a delete for the incorrect version of the keyword and then adding the correct one. Remember to include a comment explaining what you are trying to achieve so that our data editors know your intentions.

Please know that we have no way to 'merge' keywords. When I resolved the cases you identified previously I did exactly the same thing that I suggested you could do.

I am sorry but we will not be able to continue to correct cases that you post on this thread. I will however be happy to help you submit corrections for them yourself.
