I too agree that there should be an easier way to report on duplicate character pages. Now that I've found this topic, hopefully more people can use this thread to report on such duplicates.

And Brent R., to answer your question, merging names is a lot easier than merging characters. Just go to the duplicate name, and do a name correction change to change the name to the original one.

So I noticed that everyone else's requests are getting answered and dealt with promptly. That's great; good job for being on the ball.

But if there is a specific reason that my merge requests from 7 months ago cannot be completed, I would appreciate being told that. Please do not just ignore me. Either do what you can to merge character pages, or please tell me the technical details of why they can't be merged. I would be satisfied with any kind of answer at this point. Here is my request from seven months ago:

I need help with the creation of at least one character page I cannot create myself due to the differences in how the incarnations' names are written.

In The Stanley Parable, the most prominent character after Stanley is the Narrator, voiced by Kevan Brighting. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3252636/

Kevan Brighting reprises this role as the Stanley Parable Narrator/announcer in Dota 2, in a purchasable announcer pack. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2290962/

Harry S. Robins reprises his role as Dr. Kleiner http://www.imdb.com/character/ch0025357/ in Dota 2, but I can't add "Dr. Kleiner the Announcer".

Lastly, I cannot add "GLaDOS Announcer" to GLaDOS's page: http://www.imdb.com/character/ch0069595/

Are you able to merge/create these pages?

This character page ("Bullitt") appears to be a duplicate:

Please merge it into this page ("Frank Bullitt"):
http://www.imdb.com/character/ch0381833/

Please move the bio from the duplicate page (ch0015160)
to the target page (ch0381833).

Please merge the photos. (Note that some but not all of the photos
in the duplicate page's gallery are already present on the target page.)

One of the photos requires additional correction:

That photo's title attribution (tt0109890) is correct,
but the character attribution (ch0015160) is incorrect.
Please change the photo's character attribution to ch0055624
(the "'Doc' McCoy" character from tt0109890 The Getaway [1972]).
