There seems to be over 50+ troll topics and counting in the message boards for The Walking Dead. How do I go about getting this reported and users banned/warned?

If you are seeing trolling in "The Walking Dead" message board that you feel violates our Terms & Conditions, please use the Report Abuse feature to bring it to the attention of our moderators.
All you need to do is click on the Report Abuse link found under the trolling message heading and follow the instructions on your screen, once the report has been received our staff will review it and take appropriate action.

There are numerous posters who have apparently already been reported as trolls. When you try to report them for abuse, the message shows up something like "Thanks, we have already received enough abuse reports for this user and appropriate action will be taken shortly." Yet, all those posters are still there trolling. I've never seen a board so messed up, this one requires some serious intervention and cleanup!

That message appears when there are pending reports. It will remain until it's investigated. They mean to say, "we know, we'll get to it, but don't flood us with more."
If you've reported that user, you'll see that on the second attempt, until it's dealt with. If you haven't, it means they've gotten multiple reports already. So, the automated system didn't deal with it. It's on the list for a staffer to check into it. And, remember, there are millions of users and several million (yes, I said million) message boards.

How can they get to it if we can't report all that the troll has posted?

If someone has acted improperly in several places, I believe IMDb assumes they have likely done the same everywhere. So they tend to interact at the poster level rather than the message level. If someone has been reported enough, IMDb will review their posts - not just the ones reported, and may delete them all if enough are problematic.
It is the poster that receives any penalties - such as extended posting delays, or even de-authorization.

Be aware. If you report TOC violations, you will be reprimanded and may lose your account. It's a Catch-22 and deeplyf flawed reporting-feature which punishes the reporter. The trolls are aware of this. This is why they LOVE IMDB. IMDB needs to clarify the reporting policy and make it transparent. And stop punishing the reporter of the infractions!

That is very true. We have trolls bragging they rule the Annie 2014 board. I know a few users who were unable to report anymore due to reporting the posts. These are not just basic troll posts either. They are out right abusive, bullying and even filled with physical threats. These trolls threatened a mother with death by writing out a disgusting story of her getting in the car, drinking and killing herself in a crash. Other trolls or other sock accounts cheered him on. It took hours to get it removed and when another user tried to help her out by guiding her on reporting this it too was removed. The trolls made a big deal out of thanking IMDB claiming they get apologies personally from IMDB mods. Like anyone would believe that. Things out of control and these users are not your run of the mill trolls either.
