The 10-line minimum of text for reviews is, I think, problematic.
Here's what I mean: I went to post my first ever review, which happened to be for the movie “So Goes My Love”, that read as follows:
=====
You know where it's going; the interest lies in how it gets there. Amusing and airy divertimento, with a fair share of “I didn't see that coming” moments to make one smile. Despite unsuitable hairstyles, Myrna Loy is convincing in her role, as is Don Ameche in his. P.S. Also suitable for children.
=====
I think it's succinct, to the point, and - if I wanted to learn about the movie – helpful. Yet I can't post it because it's too short!! There's nothing more I want to say, or that I think would be useful to say. Why should I pad it just to be able to add it to the reviews?
I understand wanting to avoid "one-word" reviews, but the limit's currently too high. Maybe a 100-250 character minimum might make sense, but not 10 lines.
