I'm trying to add "Acidik Inc" to the miscellaneous companies section for the pilot episode of Robservations. Trying being the operative word as I've submitted it four times now, and each time whoever's dealing with the submission has mucked it up.
The "Inc" is part of the name, it's not an abbreviation for Incorporated. Transpose the end letters of the words acidic and ink and you get the name.
The first time I submitted it as part of submitting the episode itself, I think I accidentally put a fullstop on the end, and the mod probably thought they were being helpful by deleting the Inc part and adding the name as just Acidik. Okay, fair enough I thought, it was a mistake I made and you probably get tons of people trying to include the Ltds, PLCs, Incs etc on company names. I get it. So I submitted a correction ( 200714-183757-336000 ) to add the Inc in stating it was part of the name and giving a link to their Facebook page. My update history said it was declined. I go to the episode's page and not only was it declined, but the whole credit was deleted as well. Huh?
So I submit the name a third time ( 200715-035853-033000 ), explaining the above... wait a bit... update history says approved, great. Go to page. It's back to just "Acidik", but this time with a dot after it. What?
So I submit the darn thing for a fourth time ( 200715-050738-566000 ) explaining I've tried to submit it three times now and it keeps being screwed up. I provide the Facebook page link again, *and* their Flikr page link, *and* a timecoded link for the Robservations pilot where the credit appears... wait a bit.... update history says approved. Dubiously look at page. Yup, the credit's been deleted again.
What's going on? Why is this name so hard to add correctly? Am I not explaining it plainly enough? Give me a clue, peeps.
