This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Alternative interface: Titles missing in movies.list.gz, E.G.: "La La Land (2016)....Using the alternative interface (I know it's being phased out), the following titles are missing in the movies.list.gz (currently dated 2017-07-14), but available on the IMDb website:

"12 Feet Deep (2016)" - IMDb website: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5143226/
"Aftermath (2017)" - IMDb website: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4581576/
"Fan (2016)" - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3495026/
"Ghost in the Shell Arise: Border 4 - Ghost Stands Alone (2014)" - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4016942/
"La La Land (2016)" - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3783958/
"Life (2017)" - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5442430/
"Lucky (2016)" - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3890902/
"The Great Wall (2016)" - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2034800/
"The Shack (2017)" - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2872518/

Are some data not serialized to the movies.list file, or are the above just a glitch?

TIA
/Chris

How is this related to the news about Amazon S3?
IMDb states that they will keep the FTP data updated and available until September, and my post is regarding missing titles in the data. Nothing to do with the switch to S3. Or?

Are you sure you were not looking in the wrong place, e.g. in titles surrounded by double quotes? I took a quick look at the files I downloaded at July 18 (i.e. the mentioned set) and I was able to locate both La La Land (listed as 'La La Land (2016/I)') and Life (listed as 'Life (2017/I)') as a sample (sorry, not looking for all mentioned ones).
