More specific ratings.maybe??

IMDb why don't you make the ratings more specific like for example 4.6 or 9.1 etc.
otherwise we overrate or underrate a lot of movies that actually aren't in the same level
i believe there's a lot of difference in 8.6 and 9.4 foe example

As staff have no plans to implement that, I don't imagine you'll have much luck with this.

Ok i checked the discussions and what i saw is that most of them agree with the idea of "half star"
Also, i think that those who argue that it would take them time to re-vote, they can re-vote any time they want to..

IMDb has used the 10 point rating scale since it was founded over 20 years ago. This is a known quantity to literally millions of people who use IMDb. Adding a half star does not add sufficient fidelity to the rating scale to justify the significant cost and confusion to update IMDb's rating architecture.
