Mostly every horror movie fan knows about Pennywise, but despite this iconic horror clown, there are some other bad freaks with painted or masked faces. They all have one thing in common: Their show won't be suitable for your kids birthday party. Even the Joker would sneer at them. Which of these strange and cruel make-up smudged honks is the most evil?

Sadly, I saw no movie rated below 5 on 10. It is sad to exclude a classic.
A classic of a very rare cult genre. Only ~1400 raters rated it to 4,1. Since there are so less examples of sucessful horror-clown-movies, I'm willing to put the hurdle a little down, but first I want to know some more about Gurdy. What does make it cult? Can you tell me a line for the description?

Gurdy was a circus clown named Luther Edward Baxter, he began dating with a girl named Tracy. Roxanne the friend of Tracy become jealous, so she told The strong man of the circus that Gurdy was raping Tracy. the strong man named Ralphio beat Gurdy and left him for dead. For the rest of the movie, the goal of Gurdy is to kill as many people as possible.
If you want to know why the movie is called 100 tears, it is because Gurdy draws a tear with the blood of his victims on the wall.
Shorter description: Gurdy the Clown is a portly, cherubic faced lad who feels so slighted he goes around exacting gory revenge.

Me didn't either. And I guess I won't see it anyway. When it gets too gory and it has nor real interesting story, then it's not my cup of meat. But this a rare genre, so I will put down the hurdle a little and put your suggestion on the list. But only with "suggested by"-line. 4.0 is the lowest I will put the hurdle, because even for that genre I do not want to make the list too trashy.

Hi Breu, I do not know if you are accepting television series for your survey but every time they talk about scary clowns on the screen, the clowns of the seventh season of AHS come to mind immediately (If you let me say so I think it is the best season of this serie)

Hi Joe. I put it on the list instantly, when you give me the description of these clowns. What is their background or short vita? You can see the examples in the list. There is so less material, that episodes of tv-series are ok for me. I'm sorry, but I don't know about these clowns, even though I saw a few episodes of this series.

I always understud it as a mixed word of hunk and horn. In Germany we call another person a honk, if he did something very stupid. It's not useable for women. Just dumb guys. I used it becaus Clowns do intentionally stupid things to make people laugh and some of them use horns, too to underline their sketch.
