Movie connections didn't seem to propagate to earlier films in the series

I entered some movie connections to link two newer films to previous films in a series. The Lake Placid series was showing 4 movies. For example, Lake Placid shows connections to Lake Placid 2, Lake Placid 3 and Lake Placid: The Final Chapter but not to the last two movies.

So, I connected Lake Placid vs. Anaconda to Lake Placid: The Final Chapter and Lake Placid: Legacy. But these connections did not propagate to the first four movies. Lake Placid: The Final Chapter shows connections to Lake Placid vs. Anaconda and Lake Placid: Legacy but those later two movies show no connections to the first four. Should this had happened automatically. To be clear, the order should be:

Lake Placid
Lake Placid 2
Lake Placid 3
Lake Placid: The Final Chapter
Lake Placid vs. Anaconda
Lake Placid: Legacy

All movies should show connections to the other 5 movies.

Likely a result of the fact that fewer people know how to report complex connections or are too lazy to add such.

Also I never knew that franchise grew that big. O_o

I have an affinity for bad movies. It's Sharknado week, so the new Lake Placid is one of their movies. I was just trying to get everything connected and was wondering if it didn't happen or if I'm being impatient and it takes a while. I'm not sure there is a processing time page for this.

Perhaps the connections were added before it became policy for complex connection corrections to be processed though the Help Desk (Contact Us) form.

The previous connections probably were, though that really shouldn't matter if the system was properly updated. (Sorry, I do software for a living so buggy software really annoys me.) My connections were entered last week.
