Movie connections no longer listed in chronological order

Movie connections normally sort in order of release date. However I'm noticing on many titles that is not the case. They seemed messed up in all categories (Follows, Followed by, and Referenced in) in the below example:

Movie connections were never listed in chronological order, they just appeared to be - see this explanation:

Interesting, that may well be the case. I'm curious what the change was that made this more apparent in the past few days, if there was one.

Emperor: The movie connections did in fact used to be listed in chronological order. You can see that at the Internet Archive, for example, on the following page: http://web.archive.org/web/2013052820...

It would seem appropriate to rename this thread "List Movie Connections in Chronological Order" and move to Ideas.

Movie connections were listed in chronological order until very recently, as can be seen from Google cache or archive.org. I believe MayorDefacto was referring to the current ordering.
