i have a hard time finding the run time for any given movie. where is that info located?

It's directly under the title.

for the movie i was looking at and for most that i looked at the time is not in any place that you site

Yes, there is no guarantee that runtimes are listed on all films - I have done a few updates for this category over the years.

As Ann says below, if you find any then feel free to flag them up and we'll see if we can fix it.

Sometimes the run time is not available until a film is in wide release. As an example, here is a film I submitted to IMDb about a month ago.
Eastwood Directs: The Untold Story (2013)

I will submit a run time when I find a reliable source for that information.

As to Ann's request, please provide a specific example so she can provide additional help.
