Movie titles are in French but preferences are set to English.

I don't get it. My preferences are set to English but movie titles are showing up in French for some reason. I go in to reset my preferences, making sure that English is the language chosen and it's still bringing up French titles.

In what country are you located?

What "Title display country" have you selected on the "Site Preferences" page? [https://secure.imdb.com/register-imdb... ]

I you do not have "United States" selected, you may wish to try that.

I've changed it from Canada to "Original" meaning that it now defaults to whatever the original title was but I shouldn't have to do this.

I'm currently in Canada and should be able to choose between English and French titles as this is what the options show. But any title will show up immediately as French even though I have English specifically chosen as the language.

This is obviously a programming issue that's defaulting to the Quebec side of things automatically no matter what language you choose.
