Hi, allan!

I don't know what movies you're talking about, but I do know that there are some movies that are soooooooooooo bad, that people leave ironic positive reviews.  Just look at the reviews for Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny; the people who give it 10 stars and praise, but it's just a joke.  Also, some movies are so bad they're a novelty, and people do like them because they're funny.  Perhaps that can explain some things.

You look at any big block buster and you see 10* reviews by insider or by yourselves they always rate one movie only. 1 in 10 user looks like they are a real person.

Hi, Allan.  There also seem to be quite a few users who rate most movies either a 10 or a 1, which is just their honest, albeit non-discerning, opinion.  And some reviewers state outright that they're rating a film as 10 to compensate for other viewers "too low" ratings, and vice versa.  I just ignore the 1s and 10s and look at the other numbers.  Interestingly (to me, at least), the average rating without 1s and 10s is usually Very close to the average including those outliers, at least if the film has a lot of ratings.
