Multiple tries to get my email listed on my contacts.

Thank you for your help. I have been trying to list my email {email address redacted} under Direct Contact on my IMDb Pro. I originally submitted the update 01/14/18. I then resubmitted 01/29/18. I resubmitted again on 02/05/18. I just resubmitted again on 04/07/18. I realize the last resubmit was yesterday, but I am concerned that the same result will occur. Am I doing something incorrect in my submission process? I also tried using the edit button next to the Direct Contact area. It only brings up a blank square with no controls to make a change. The page with the issue is located at https://pro.imdb.com/name/nm1881501?rf=cons_nm_meter&ref_=cons_nm_meter

Hello Dwight, 

According to the IMDbPro page, on the Direct Contact section, there's an asterisk, which indicates that the info was submitted by the page owner via IMDb Resume (has not been verified by IMDb).

I'm assuming that the email address should be submitted through your IMDb Resume. The email does appear on the editable Update Information page but is not displayed on either IMDb page. 

Please wait for an IMDb representative for an official response.

Get Satisfaction is a public forum. Everything posted here is publicly available and is indexed by search engines such as Google and Bing.

Did you want your email address to be public? If not, I can edit your original post to remove your email address after posting a note to a staff member with your email address.

Hi Dwight,

The Direct Contact on your IMDbPro was previously added with your IMDbPro Resume. Contact information added with the Resume cannot be verified or verified by IMDb. Contact information is now all submitted and verified by our Data Editors.

You'll need to first remove the Direct Contact information and then resubmit it. I've listed out the steps below for how to do this:

1. Go to your IMDbPro page: https://pro.imdb.com/name/nm1881501
2. Select "Edit Page" located at the bottom of the page, which will bring you to the page here: https://pro.imdb.com/mypage#main
3. Select "Contact info & representation"
4. Remove the direct contact information you previously added
5. Select "Add Contact"
6. On the update form, select "Add 1 item" from the drop down next to "Direct Contact"
7. Select "Continue"
8. Fill in the preferred info and select "Check these Updates"
9. Once the fields are green, select "Submit these updates"
