Hey I am having a problem with my list called The Academy Awards presents the Best Film Series (with missing prequels to sequels that the movie should of ending on). It is every time I edit the list on IMDb or on my IMDb app, it gets the movies in the list out of order that I don't want it to be. Here is a link to the list to help fix it: http://www.imdb.com/list/ls054339750/. Can you please fix it?

The sequence of the list is chosen by the viewer. Each user can set a default sort order for each type of List: Titles, People, Characters, Images, and Videos.
For Title lists like yours the choices are:
  • IMDb default
  • List Order (ascending)
  • Title A-Z
  • Release Data (US)
  • Number of Votes
  • IMDb Rating
  • Your Rating
  • Popularity, and
  • Date Added (recent first)
You can see this by clicking on Edit list for any Title list, then clicking on Change list settings. You will see the option under the group header Default view preferences for lists of Titles.
(IMDb default appears to currently be List Order (ascending).)

I had my default set to Title A-Z so your list showed up in that sequence.  However, there is an option at the top of the list to reset the sequence temporarily. When I selected List Order (ascending) the list appeared to match the data you provided in the header.

As far as I know, there is no way to lock in a specific sequence. All I can suggest is that you put a very visible note in the header indicating that this sequence needs to be selected for the list to match the Rows data in the header.
