Do you mean a User account or an IMDb Name page? A User Account is what one uses to log in to IMDb. An IMDb Name Page is a page in the database that contains information about a person, both Filmography and personal information.

If it is the former, there may be a way to recover it, provided you remember some information about it; if the latter, one does not log in to a Name Page.

If you reply including a link to the item in question, someone should be able to help you further.

Challote,

No one will give you access to someone else's user account.  That defeats the whole purpose of having passwords.

However, if you mean by "added me," that she created a Name Page on IMDb that lists your film/tv credits, you don't need, for any reason, her old account information.  If you're trying to make changes to that page, you can submit requests to add/correct data from any User Account.  So, you can just create your own.

Are you trying to add or correct data on one of these pages?:

Challote Elliot (II) (Actress, Oscar (2014))
Challote Elliot (I) (Actress, Weekend Graffiti (2012)

Are, by any chance, both of these pages referring to you?

If so, they'd first need to be merged.  There should only be one page for any one person.

Also, if you're trying to make additions or changes to either, there is an "edit page" button leading to a form to submit data.

If you're trying to add photos, resume page and/or contact information, you'll need to create (or use a current one) a user account and then subscribe to IMDb Pro for those items.  Anything else, credits, bio, trivia, etc., can just be submitted by logging in and clicking the "edit page" button on the page.

If Toni wants to recover her old account, she'll have to deal with that on her own.  IMDb will then expect her to be the only one using it and that she won't share her password with anyone else.  The status of that account has nothing to do with you, your account or a site's Name Page displaying your credits.  No User Account has control over parts of the database.  Only staff does...and any user can submit to request they add or change that data.

Part of this I understand now, it wasn't Toni who set this up it was to do with the Producer/ Director af the film school , yes both of these accounts are mine and need to be merged, I do want to Edit, change etc, so I will do that. In order for me to access my account will I need to contact the school or would it be easier for me to open another account and get everything merged and then join up to Pro...

Neither of those pages are "Accounts" that anyone but staff can control.  They are pages of the database of film information.  Users cannot log in to them and make changes.  Users can only log into a "User Account" that lets them use features of the site.  Again, you do not need, nor do you have a right to anyone else's User Account.  You, therefore, do not need to contact a school, producer, rep, etc., to use the site.  You will simply need to create your own user Account.  You would be able to log in, click the "edit page" button on any page and submit requests to add or correct data.  You could, if you want, also log in and subscribe to IMDb Pro, "claim" the page in your name and link to it to upload photos, resume page, add contact info., etc.

I submitted to merge the two Name Pages linked above.  It'll take a few days to process, maybe more.

I'd wait for it to complete before adding/correcting information on your page, but if you don't, use Challote Elliot (I), as that'll be the resulting page after the "merge."

Challote, these two names are not "accounts". Basically they're just names on the IMDB database. You don't have to contact any schools etc.

Anyone (yes, basically anyone with enough proof/info/sources/etc) can submit information to the IMDB database (via "edit"). You can merge those two names yourself if both of those names are "you". Just follow this info (it's pretty easy, actually):
http://www.imdb.com/help/show_leaf?na...

(Ah, Bluesman already did the merge and posted info)

I know my own account details, username and password (I have not, nor will I ever disclose). Your personal log-in is for fan based, reviews, watch-list etc - which you can recover quite easily. What you're referring to is your work credits to build up your profile as an actress. This isn't something you can modify yourself, nor is it something I set up for you. Your name would of been submitted to IMDB then IMDB would of contacted the Producers/contact at the Film School who would of verified your involvement. That's how you add film credits. For personal bio, DOB, photo's etc refer to a thread I started when I had the same initial problems. (Shout out to DavidAH_Ca for the wicked response below)

https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/topics/i_had_a_page_created_when_a_short_film_i_made_was_submitted_...

You can update the information on that page by clicking on the Edit page button at the bottom of it and filling out the various forms that apply on the Update page.

You might want to check the Data Submission Guides for the various sections before trying to update them. These guides and a lot of other helpful pages are all linked from the Contributor Zone, which you might want to bookmark for future reference.

One warning: IMDb will not remove valid information, so be sure you want it permanently publicly visible before adding it.

Much of the Biographical data is accepted without need of confirming URLs, DoB being the major exception. For Date of Birth, they now need authoritative data, preferably a government document. (They don't accept the word of the person involved as too many people (primarily actresses and actors) have 'adjusted' their ages for various reasons.)

IMDb's preferred document is a passport, though they well accept some other ID. You can scan this, upload the scan to a site that they can access without needing to log in, and include the resulting URL in the form. (You might consider using Dropbox, as it allows you to set access so that someone needs the exact URL to see the page, and you can delete the page as soon as the data is accepted by IMDb.)

If you want to add Contacts, you will need access to a Pro Account (but any Pro Account will be able to submit updates to your page.

If you want to create a separate Resume page, or upload photos, you will need to upgrade to a Pro Account and use it to 'claim your page'. See IMDb Resume Frequently Asked Questions for more information on this service.

Actually, this part of Toni's message is incorrect. Credits CAN be added, corrected, etc. via the EDIT button at the bottom of the filmography page as well. Be sure to check the Data Submission Guides for instructions on how to do that and how to submit proof of the work. IMDb doesn't contact schools, (they don't contact anyone except here and via Help Desk Messages). They generally require proof (screen grabs of credits roll being the most common) or call sheets for uncredited work.

The merge of pages has process.

Challote Elliot is now the Name Page, part of IMDb, the database of film/tv information, that refers to your work.

This is not an "Account" and there is no password to use for this page.

If you haven't already, you can create a User Account via the sign up here link.  You can then log in to the site itself and use its features, including the "edit page" button on the Name Page linked above, to add credits, bio, trivia, etc., to the Name Page in your name, to any other Name Page and/or  to any Title's page.

You can also log in then subscribe to IMDbPro which would let you upload photos, a resume and add contact information, if you choose, to the page in your name.  Those items will remain on the page as long as your subscription is active.  But if you cancel, you'd still be able to use the same User Account, the free version, to submit things like credits to any IMDb page.

I hope that makes sense.
