My name is spelled wrong on the credits for a show and was given to someone else.

So, I logged in, went to the page for the title and clicked "edit page." This gave me the form to add/correct data on the page. I corrected the name listed to be "Westgor, Brett," which will result in a page in your name being built and to which the credit can be moved.

When? Can you post the submission ID Reference Number you were assigned? Can you post the contents of the emailed receipt you got?

I have no idea what this means. What should the name be? Has it been submitted again? Can you provide links to the pages you're talking about? I see the credit, but only one, listed for that title. What would be "merged?" If you've now added it again, the second page can be merged to the first, but I don't see one listed yet. If this was just done in the past day or two, you'll probably be better off waiting for the updates to complete and then seeing what needs to be done to correct them.

To "merge" two name pages, you'd go to the one least accurate and then "correct" it to read as the main page should read. The result is, all credits end up on one page in the correct name. Assistance can be given at that time, if you need it...if that's what is occurring.

Again, I see an empty page for Steve Stamey, so if this is the add you submitted (instead of-and next time you should-correcting the "Steven"), you should probably wait until processed and then merge the two pages.

An Account User ID is not a name. For instance, mine is bluesmanSF. It's not meant to be a name and is not searchable and not for displaying credits, etc. It simply lets you log in to the site and use features. Like an email, it must be unique and not contain spaces.

A Name Page, part of the database of film facts, needs to be in the person's real name so people can find him/her. To keep the pages unique and separated by filmography, bio, etc., they assign a Roman numeral one higher than the previous person of that name added to the database.

I will be more specific. I registered recently to cast-add myself to The Longest Ride http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2726560/ . When I clicked to submit the add, I was first given an option to use the name Steven Stamey, which I received a credit from the Just a Body (2015) short. Link is here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4345640/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1 ; which I did not realize I have been credited for this short film. However, whomever added me to the credited cast misspelled my name to Steven.
All that said, I did mistakingly choose the Steven Stamey name option for The Longest Ride, thinking it could be easily fixed by editing to my Real name, which is what I always go by: Steve Stamey . Sorry for my confusion but this is the first email ( there are 2 subsequent emails that followed):
