Gradually, over a period of some months, both Metacritic and your compilation of professional critics choices has slowly eliminated N.Y. Times movie critics. Both A.O. Scott and Manohla Dargis have to be counted among the top five critics in the U.S. Is any reason why their reviews are being phased out? (The Times' movie critics reviews are available through Rotten Tomatoes.)

I can't comment on Metacritic, as I don't know how they select or ingest their content, but I can tell you that, to the best of my knowledge, we have not changed anything in the way we link reviews from The New York Times or any other site/publications.

And I still see that both A.O. Scott and Manohla Dargis have recently written reviews on the NY Times (for 42 and Oblivion, respectively) that are included on those films' pages on IMDb.com

External reviews are largely user-submitted. So the lack of other reviews may simply be due to the fact that nobody has sent us link to those missing reviews yet. If you, or anyone else, submit those reviews, they will be added and listed.
