I'm trying to update my clients name

https://www.imdb.com/name/nm3940344/

he has been using the short form of his name WES MUTSAARS
I've tried to do the name change on the following updates, but is not going through...

190812-125545-596000
190819-152009-682000
190904-224613-733000

THis is the artist's official website showing proof:http://wesmutsaars.com/?page_id=557

Can you please advise?

Thanks!

David, while that web page may be different and is using his short name "Wes", that does not mean that his on screen credits reflect this. IMDb concerns itself with the accuracy regarding name listed vs name credited on screen.

It sounds like you are attempting a name change based on this web page. That would only get you a declined on your submissions.
If you have proof of his on screen credits being different then you would need to correct the movie or TV page associated with his credits.
An AKA would be created. This can be a complicated submission, and I would not recommend attempting it.
I have a name page that uses my "Short Name"
Ed Jones (XLIX)

I also have an AKA of E Cliff Jonz (as a DJ) and my full name that I do not use at all.

I understand that, but I’m ok with not updating his previous existing credits. Just updating the name for any future credits .

IMDb concerns itself with the accuracy regarding name listed vs name credited on screen.
If he uses Wes, Then it will update on it's own. If the credits on screen say "Wes" then when submitted will be listed "as Wes Mutsaars" in that particular credit. It will be easier to submit a name correction after this first credit appears. IMDb staff may or may not at this time approve your change at this time.

Wait for a staff reply. It will probably be within the next 6-12 hours.
Cheers

Hi David,

Unfortunately we cannot accept your change as we have no evidence linking your management to the name page. If names are linked to accounts then those accounts may affect how the name is represented on IMDb.

Thanks,
Will

Hi Will,

So what kind of evidence would you need in order to proceed with the name change?
Regards,
David
