I created 6 movie pages for my own IMDb page. These are short films that no longer exist. the creators and myself no longer want to have these movies on our page. Please help delete. I have tried million times but never worked.

Mason: On the one hand, I have in the past criticized IMDb's policy for accepting films which has allowed a number of films into the database that aren't of general public interest, and often the filmmakers or cast don't even want the films to be listed in IMDb (either at the time they are listed, or later on).

On the other hand, it doesn't help to claim that the films "no longer exist". At least three of the films you mentioned still exist. In fact, I just watched Generosity, Killer, and Homeless myself while writing this post.

In any event, no longer existing should not disqualify a film from being in the database. Otherwise, we would have to delete films such as Alfred Hitchock's The Mountain Eagle, Convention City starring Joan Blondell, Murder at Monte Carlo starring Errol Flynn, and The Promise starring Ian McKellen.

I can understand your desire to delete credits that are unhelpful to your career, but current IMDb policy does not support deleting credits for that reason.

Instead, it would be better to have IMDb re-institute the policy requiring films to have general public interest, not just to be put online on YouTube, to qualify for listing.

Hi. First of all, those three films you've just watched, the director of them are the same person, who is exactly the person that require me to delete these pages, because I added them without telling him. That's one mistake I made. But if I could delete a page you added yourself, that's simply absurd. If someone don't consider their work as movies, why would those be put on imdb? is imdb a movie site or just any videos can be put up here? Again, I regret putting those pages, now that knowing I can't correct my past mistake makes me want to delete my account.

You can ask the director of those three movies, Shavalik, if you are still interested in dealing with my issue. Thank you.

Any dispute or claim relating in any way to your use of any IMDb Service, or any products or services sold or distributed by IMDb or through the IMDb Services will be resolved by binding arbitration, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify. The Federal Arbitration Act and federal arbitration law apply to this agreement.

    a. There is no judge or jury in arbitration, and court review of an arbitration award is limited. However, an arbitrator can award on an individual basis the same damages and relief as a court (including injunctive and declaratory relief or statutory damages), and must follow the terms of these Conditions of Use as a court would.

    b. To begin an arbitration proceeding, you must send a letter requesting arbitration and describing your claim to our registered agent Corporation Service Company, 300 Deschutes Way SW, Suite 304, Tumwater, WA 98051. The arbitration will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its rules, including the AAA’s Supplementary Procedures for Consumer-Related Disputes. The AAA’s rules are available at or by calling 1-800-778-7879. Payment of all filing, administration and arbitrator fees will be governed by the AAA’s rules. We will reimburse those fees for claims totaling less than $10,000 unless the arbitrator determines the claims are frivolous. Likewise, IMDb will not seek attorneys’ fees and costs in arbitration unless the arbitrator determines the claims are frivolous. You may choose to have the arbitration conducted by telephone, based on written submissions, or in person in the county where you live or at another mutually agreed location.

    c. You and IMDb each agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated or representative action. If for any reason a claim proceeds in court rather than in arbitration you and IMDb each waive any right to a jury trial. You and IMDb also both agree that you or we may bring suit in court to enjoin infringement or other misuse of intellectual property rights.
