I have tried recently to add reviews to the site, I have done so before without problems. when it has an issue its usually highlighted and I fix it. But my recent reviews dont have any problems I even went over my whole review after checking all the guidelines, I took out some brackets, a swearword which was done with stars and even changed WHD to Whd just incase but it still says prohibited words yet nothing is highlighted. how do I get in touch with IMDB to start posting my reviews again??? I need help this is getting ridiculous

here is my review, I can see no issue what so ever

Tonight I sat and watched both White House Down and Olympus. Olympus is a good film with great action and a very serious storyline. There are great fight sequences which are very slick, a lot of people getting their necks snapped and stabbed in the head which is always good in a movie. but I don't know why anyone would set up a nuke system where the codes cant be reset though - what a stupid thought. the actors that interested me were Gerard Butler and Morgan Freeman, Angela Bassett and Dylan McDermot, whilst Whd has Jamie Foxx, Channing Tatum, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Joey King as Emily Tatum's daughter in the film. while both films have kids in them Olympus's kid is crap does nothing but hide and wait to be saved, yet Emily sneaks up on the terrorists, films them and posts it online, has a gun put up to her head to get the launch codes and is prepared to die to stop millions is the middle east dying, what a kid!! She is actually one of the big heroes in the movie for more than I have just mentioned. In Olympus the terrorists are Korean yet in Whd they are American a few of them racist who hate a black president. Olympus has quite a few mistakes that I don't believe the President and his staff would make. Whd has many funny moments where Olympus has none, Whd had loads of great deaths including 2 that had me swearing out loud. Olympus is willing to turn the world to shit to save one man, where as Whd is willing to blow up the White House and kill 65 innocent people to stop the terrorists from destroying the world, which I honestly think they would do. At first I honestly didn't see myself believing Foxx as President but I warmed to him. Whd even has a car chase across the White House lawn with the Presidential limo nicknamed the beast because its basically a tank and rocket launchers and a tank.

To me Whd is the superior movie, which I didn't think I would say in the end, I thought it would be Olympus. If you can watch both but If your making a choice go with Whd, by far the better movie.

"Crap" is probably prohibited but I stopped reading too closely because there seems to be spoilers (that you should have warned about). Also, where are you putting it? Could/should you review them separately?

I marked the spoiler box at the top of my review but didn't think to write spoiler alert here

Unsurprisingly, it's "crap" and "shit".

You could do with some corrections, such as:

"The actors that interested me"
"Joey King as Emily, Tatum's daughter in the film"
"millions in the Middle East"
"If you can, watch both, but if you're making a choice"

I had already changed crap to rubbish and it still wouldn't submit.

I'm not writing an English essay so I'm not bothered about starting the actors with a capital letter. I'm not adding a full stop to the middle of a sentence, maybe a comma and there was a full stop after film. Yes I didn't realise I had is instead of in, and middle east is fine as it's a region and not a country.

If you can watch both doesn't need a break between nor after as the sentence continued with but. Your write on the last two it was 4am and I didn't pay much attention to it as it's a review on the internet.

Oh and before you try to bitch about realise, its spelt right as I'm English and that's how the English language is written. It's only different for Americans as they were too stupid to know how to pronounce certain English words properly such as colour.

I didn't come on here for a lesson of grammar, it's the internet not a school report.

But that's probably fine in a chat room. Why fill a site with gibberish just because "it's the Internet?" If you can't be bothered to make some sense, what's the point of bothering at all?

I'm British, I speak British English and Peter is right on ever item. I also find that such a line of argument (so commonly reeled out on IMDB, and the Internet in general that it is a cliche - just count yourself lucky that none of the regulars here are going to throw in a riposte about our teeth) doesn't exactly help us Brits convince the rest of the world that we've abandoned the old arrogance born from our days of Empire. You also don't really do yourself any favours/favors either - color and colour are pronounced the same. All this before we get around to the need for an overhaul in British English spelling - the German did it.

Also, just because it is to be posted on the Internet doesn't mean you shouldn't put in a bit of effort to make it easier to read - grammar, spelling and punctuation are important this side of Twitter because people will make assumptions about your intelligence from the way you write and/or might just abandon reading something that is poorly put together (if you can't be bothered, then why should they?)

Just to be clear, I was suggesting commas, though my formatting may have obscured that. The one after "both" could also be a full stop.

Any prohibited words will cause the review to show a warning in red- it's up to us to go through it and find it. The word "Jizzum" was one, once I edited it out I was able to post. The word "Crap" does not generate a red warning, however, it's best to use that word figuratively instead of referring to actual feces.

But I do wish when we used a banned word that the warning told us the exact banned word.
