Network Error Can't Connect Right Now

The IPad app will not let me connect. Version 4.6.1. I'm using the iPad2 on iOS 8.1.2. It has been a problem since the last app updates the past 2 weeks. Ugh. The app is so much better than the web. Please fix this.

Here's how to fix this:
1. Go to Settings > Time & Date and either turn on Set Automatically, or adjust the time and time zone to be the correct time.
2. Kill the app by double-pressing the home button to go to the app switcher, and swipe up on the IMDb app's screen (iOS 8). On iOS 7, the app has a red button to kill it.
3. Launch the IMDb app again. The network errors should be gone.

We have a fix for this but are unable to submit an app update during Apple's holiday shutdown this week. So the first opportunity to submit will be on Dec 30th, and it will take several days after that for Apple to review it.

Until then, you'll need to make sure your clock is set correctly. Having an incorrect clock would likely also cause an issue with some of your other apps as well. For our 4.6.1 app, it must be within 5 minutes of the actual time. Having the wrong time zone set will cause the same issue, since what matters is what time your phone thinks GMT time is.
