If it is displayed on the the page then it has been processed, accepted and added.

You probably should have submitted to replace or correct the other rather than to add a new one.

You should probably submit to "delete" the old one and explain carefully that it's been re-written and improved upon.

While at it, you might edit the old one.  I notice you start a lot of sentences repeating the name Ron...you might use "he" instead if you can. It makes easier reading.  Then use "Ron" if there are others being discussed, when it clarifies which you're talking about.

Also, you shouldn't list works that appear in the filmography unless they're mentioned for a reason.  But when mentioning titles/names in the database, make them clickable by entering them as:

'Matt Damon' (qv)
'Robin Williams (I)' (qv)

_Good Will Hunting (1997)_ (qv)

So they'll appear as a link. See Creating Links

Instead of the bio, which should be more about personal info, you might list work not included in the database in the "other works" area. See Other Works

Done.  Thanks...that's the one I figured and that I was looking at.

It should update fairly quickly (though deletion of the first might take a bit longer).  Post back if there are any problems!

And, you're very welcome!

To "bluesmanSF" . . .

Sorry, this post has nothing to do with the thread, however, I was on here typing about my own problem and came across an old message you wrote in reply to some-one's query. I didn't know how to contact you, so I thought I'd take your latest post and run with that.

What I read, warmed my heart. My partner has been a soldier and policeman and we've always liked to help people, whether we were poor in the early days or not. In-fact, when we relocated countries,we gave EVERYTHING to the Salvos, though of course I kids kept their favorites. We've always given away far more than we've received. As it turns out, I now have a terminal illness, yet funnily enough, we've not received much help. We teach our children by example, and that is to know giving is good and expecting things in return, rarely happens and isn't worth your anger. We laugh it off and know we've helped others and that's what matters. Our kids now get something, play with it for 10 seconds, then state; I've played with this, can I give it away to some-one who might want it now?! We've created monsters!! haha

Anyway, to remind you of what you wrote, I've quoted it beneath and added ...
My wife and I were eating dinner last night and saw a soldier paying for his meal and we signaled the server to send the bill to us. The other night we ate dinner and saw we had a lot left and made a plate and took it to the disabled man accross the street, so he didn't have to stand and make his dinner (it's quite painful for him). I regularly pick up trash in the park by our house and along the streets as I go for a walk, near my home. To take a few seconds to answer someone's question, when I know the answer or know where to get it, is not a big deal to me, so I guess I never thought about why.
On behalf of the 8 of us (10 with the cat & dog), to you and your wife, we say...
A VERY BIG THANK
YOU!!

LOL at the "monsters."  Yep, kids pick it up and carry on.  I see mine go help a kid that fell and is crying, before they play they clean up at the park, etc., and they also choose which toys they don't play with and want to give them to kids with none, etc.

Anyway, thanks for your kind words and best to you, your partner (and thanks  to your partner for committing to protecting and serving!)  and gang (including the cat and dog!).

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled My Bio.

How come when I update my bio the newer version gets place under the original? Now there's two mini Bio's.
