I just came across your new "Family Details" category on the Edit Page, and I have a few questions about the categories in the pull-down menu for it.

Why is there a category for "Parent" but not for "Mother" and "Father"?

Why is there a category for "Step-Parent" but not for "Stepmother" and "Stepfather"?

Why is there a category for "Adoptive Parent" but not for "Adoptive Mother" and "Adoptive Father"?

Why is there a category for "Child" but not for "Son" and "Daughter"?

Why is there a category for"Step-Child" but not for "Step-son" and "Step-Daughter"?

Why is there a category for "Adopted Child" bu  not for "Adopted Son" and "Adopted Daughter"?

Why is there a category for "Sibling" but none for "Brother" and "Sister"?

Why is there a category for "Half-Sibling" but none for "Half-Brother" and "Half-Sister"?

What's with the category  "Aunt/Uncle"? I don't know about you, but I don't happen to have anyone in m family who is both my Aunt and my Uncle. Maybe you do. Most of the rest of us don't.

Why is there a category for "Grandparent" but not for "Grandmother" and "Grandfather"?

Why is there a category for "Grandchild" but not for "Grandson" and "Granddaughter"?

Why is there a category for "Great Grandparent" but not for "Great-Grandmother" and "Great-Grandfather"? And "Great Grandwhatever" needs to be hyphenatd; "Great" isn't an adjective.

Why is there a category for "Great Grandchild" but not for "Great-Grandson" and "Great-Granddaughterr"? And again, "Great Grandwhatever" needs to be hyphenated; "Great" isn't an adjective.

Yeah, that's what I figured. Besides being brainless, it's also insulting.  Apparently it never occurred to IMDb that there are people who LIKE being called "brother, or "grandmother", etc. This is so typical of IMDb when they introduce something "new"--(1) good idea; (2) spectacularly, cataclysmically incompetent execution that manages to piss off everyone who thought it was a good idea in the first place.
