A little over a month ago I tried to submit a new title, but it still hasn't ended up on the site so I'm guessing it was rejected even though I believe I provided more than enough information to verify it.
I'm trying to submit the show "Garfunkel and Oates" which was a 2012 HBO series. I'm guessing the problem is that there's also a new 2014 show called "Garfunkel and Oates" on the IFC network so IMDB might have thought they were duplicates. My production company produces both of these shows FYI.
Does anyone know how I can help distinguish the HBO series in order for this title to be approved? Below is all the information I submitted previously. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Scott: Can you post the actual content of your e-mail receipt for this data submission, as copied from the e-mail receipt you would have received from IMDb immediately after sending it in? The contributors here can do more by looking at the actual data than by looking at the number of items submitted in each category. In your other thread you identified this submission as number 140620-225549-234000.
Bob: The link you posted is to the 2014 series "Garfunkel and Oates". The same group had a previous, separate series in 2012, also titled "Garfunkel and Oates", which is supposed to be listed separately. Scott is trying to get the 2012 series posted -- this was discussed in the prior messages he has posted in a different thread here.

My bad - I fixated on the fact the missing one was by HBO and the one I linked to has HBO in the company credits.....thanks for spotting my error.

Yeah, that page used to say IFC but now says HBO apparently. People keep mixing up the two and making incorrect changes which is why I really want to get this 2nd page up so I can correctly split the two shows up.

Scott: I don't see any problems with your submission that would have stopped the show from getting listed. If an IMDb staffer posts here to explain, my guess would be that this submission most likely got lost in the shuffle somehow, rather than it being invalid.
So in the meantime, I would recommend re-submitting, but with two changes to your submission:
1. During the process, you will get a warning that says:
This title is a separate project from "Garfunkel and Oates" (2014) (tt2276413). Both series have the same title and star the same performers, but they are separate productions and should be listed separately.
This will at least confirm to IMDb that you know what you are doing when you submit the 2012 series as a separate project.
2. In addition, you have only listed one Miscellaneous Link (http://splitsider.com/2012/08/garfunkel-and-oates-excellent-pilot-is-now-on-hbo-go-in-pieces/). I recommend submitting some more, in order to help boost the priority of this title for consideration by the staff. (Having multiple Miscellaneous Links was more important in the past than it is now, but since this submission didn't get through with only one Misc. Link, you might as well add some more.)

Scott: I have given you a "Me Too" on this thread because I'm basically out of ideas. However, if an IMDb staffer sees this thread and is willing to help you, and I hope that they do and are, they will probably want to know the submission number for your most recent data submission. So please post that here. (You can also post your new full submission receipt here if you want, but I probably won't have any more insights to suggest about it.)

And long story short, there are two TV shows my production company produced both called "Garfunkel and Oates" and both starring the same actresses. One aired on HBO in 2012, and the other premieres on IFC tomorrow night. There's currently only 1 IMDB page that contains information for both series, but is primarily the IFC show. Gromit was trying to help me create a new page for the HBO show so I could then transfer over the incorrect information to that page.
I also submitted a request to change the distributor on the current page from HBO to IFC, and that request seems to have been rejected as well. It was Reference #140723-003211-719000.
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated, as I've been trying to take care of this for several months now. Thank you!
