No longer able to add credit whereas colleague is able to add the same exact thing

for the last 14 years, i've been able to be credited on shows i've worked on in "miscellaneous" as "in house producer". for the last year, i have been unable to do this for at least ten different series. However, a colleague of mine who does the same exact job with the same exact title has had no issues.

Hi Mike,

As usual: what are the 18 digit ID of your last submissions?
What is the reason given by IMDb for turning them down, that you can check in https://contribute.imdb.com/contributions/history?

these 8 were flagged previously for being under "miscellaneous" and not in the "producer" category:

180628-185000-617000
180628-184828-121000
180628-184653-660000
180628-184534-298000
180628-184423-508000
171201-214426-161000
171201-214241-135000
171117-194534-422000

I tried again with these five with no luck and assuming they got denied for the same reasons.  Yet, my colleague who does the same thing as i do submits them the same way i do under miscellaneous" with the same job title and she has no issues getting them in.  AND, i've been submitting my credits this same way for at least the past 10 years:

181204-190703-770000

180918-203440-187000

180918-203327-385000

180913-233028-113000

180905-200653-828000

I really appreciate your assistance.

- Mike

i'm assuming you're going to respond with "i have to put these in the "producer" category and add "uncredited".  yet my questions are it wasn't ever like this for the majority of my credits and my colleague is not have the same issue.

yes, but that didn't explain why this is happening to me and hasn't happened in the past only just in 2018 and why my colleague is having success doing it the same exact way.

So first do not duplicate topics, and do not wait 6 months to respond to IMDb staff (Michelle)

Hi Mike,

Please follow the instructions outlined by Michelle in the other thread and we'll be happy to take a look. If you can supply the details of your colleague's page we will investigate further.

Regards,
Will

are you able to say why i was able to add all my previous credit entries though?  i'd rather not give details of my colleagues page as i don't want to make it where she is unable to add credits too.

Michelle says to add my credits in the "producer" category and add "uncredited".  i have no issues in doing that it's just that none of my other credits required that and it's the same job i was doing.  Again, i appreciate all your help so far.  Thanks for not giving up on me.

Hi Mike -

Just to clarify further, the 'uncredited' attribute applies when an individual worked on a project but their name wasn't credited on-screen.  If there are other producer's listed incorrectly on the title and their names weren't credited on-screen, you are welcome to submit corrections to those entries to  include the "uncredited" attribute.
