Nonsensical reason for declining and update along with bogus information on how to correct

I recently attempt to remove a gap in episodes for Star Wars: Rebels Season 1 which has episodes 11 and 13 but no episode 12. Episodes 13, 14, and 15 should be moved down a slot in to episodes 12, 13, 14. They were all declined with this message:

Unfortunately we were unable to accept your submission as we were unable to verify the information provided. If your submission was placed via the IMDb.com Desktop title or name page submission form, you now have an option to provide evidence with your additions, as well as corrections or deletions. Please go to your Contribution History, re-load the submission reference and tick the box “provide an explanation to assist in processing this submission” and “check these updates”. The field will become available in the submission form. For all other submissions, please see our Help Site for further information or details on how to contact us.

First of all, I already checked the box "provide an explanation...." on the original edits stating exactly the same as above. Second, you cannot resubmit the edit until 2 weeks later "to give processing time" which is nonsensical sense it has already been declined and needs no further wait for processing. This should all be easily "verifiable" by looking at the list of season 1 episodes and seeing that there is no episode 12 despite no break in the dates between episode 11 and 13!

Hi Adrian,

Thank you for your message. Our editors were unable to verify this change, the research carried out by our team shows that episodes 13, 14 and 15 are numbered correctly and the issue is with episodes earlier in the season. If you have any evidence or third party links to show otherwise, please let us know and we can look into this further for you.

Thanks
Meredith

Your data editors are incorrect. Every list of episodes will bear this out, but you have to keep in mind that every list of episode considers "Spark of Rebellion" as 2 episodes so you have to subtract one from every episode list. (Per IMDb rules, "Spark of Rebellion" is a single episode as it aired uninterrupted with a single set of credits.

My updates above will actually fix Season 1. They are correct and easily verifiable by looking at any of the lists of episodes (bearing in mind every episode after "Spark of Rebellion" needs to be subtracted by 1 for IMDb numbering).

https://disney.fandom.com/wiki/Star_Wars_Rebels_episode_list
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Star_Wars_Rebels_episodes#Season_1_(2014%E2%80%9315)

While these lists show those episodes as 13-15, you have to subtract 1 because they count "Spark of Rebellion" twice. Without access to Disney+ I can't give you a more definitive list. I'm sure someone with Disney+ could show the episodes (but likely they would have the same issue).

The other problem with season 1 is that is missing episode 3, Fighter Flight. And the current episode 3 should be episode 4.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Star Wars Rebels season 1 is totally wrong.

The season lineup for season 1 is out of sequence and missing episodes.   It should follow this matrix:

Not sure who I would contact to correct this

Thanks both for raising the issues with this title, it looks like this has now been resolved. The missing episode 3 has now been added and the episodes shifted as suggested so that we now list 14.

Please let us know if there is anything that is still not in line.

There is also an error in star wars rebels season 3, it skips episode 18 for no reason. The air dates are even one week apart but for some reason it jump from 17 to 19
