Hi,

Not long before the problem started, I was able to use IMDb just fine. Just 10 minutes ago, I clicked on Your Activity to get to my profile and found a 500 error instead. After being able to access my user reviews section in another tab I found that my user reviews page was strange too, being not able to see my one pending review that I had submitted just before the problem started or the deleted reviews. I just want reassurance that it is just that IMDb is down, and not anything else, I know that it is not an email problem and I have not done anything whatsoever to warrant my account being blocked. Having been able to access other sites without problem, I also know that it is not a browser problem. I have had issues with my laptop recently due to low memory but it has not affected my internet access or being able to use IMDb. Would be really grateful for your help. Thank you in advance. Bethany

How all the user names on message boards are displayed as user IDs is a bit of a sight.

Can't Update/Edit any pages either.  Clicking the edit/update button results in a 500 error page on both IMDb and IMDbPro. (all title and name pages seem affected, didn't try anything else)

I'm having the same problem. When I accessed the site a few minutes ago I was shown as being logged in but none of my site preferences were being used. Also the old-style message boards (eg Contributor's Help) were empty of postings so I couldn't see if anyone else had reported the problem. So I logged out, hoping that when I logged back in everything would be OK.But now I can't get back in :-(

Hope they fix it soon as I've got some submissions to make...

If it's planned maintenance, there needs to be a prominent message on the home page and a more informative error message (instead of the 500 message) if you try to log in.

Hopefully they'll fix it soon.

Just to report back that the problem seems to have been fixed now - I can log in, see the effects of my site preferences, and access the Submit page. Thanks for your work in resolving this.

I just started a new account with a new movie title. Just when I was at the end of the application. I was logged off and my screen read error 500. I tried logging back on and the screen read the same thing. Why?

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled 404 eror whenever i try to go to my rankings/watchlist/site settings.

Got an error while searching for a movie title to add to a list. The search never finished and i had to press F5/refresh and that is when i got the error message. Now i get the 404 whenever i try to access my watchlist/my rankings and a 500 error when trying to go to site setting og my activity. I closed and restarted my browser, and i also rebooted my computer. Problem is still there, anyone know how to solve this?
