Now you must watch ads to view trailers!

A trailer is a advertisement: it is to promote a film so people will PAY MONEY to see it. IMDB is now forcing users to watch an ad in order to watch another ad (trailers). That is the most consumer-antagonistic, IDIOTIC thing I've seen in a long long time. Consumers should be encouraged to watch a trailer, not forced to sit through another ad first.

I for one refuse to be forced to waste my time watching an ad in order to see a trailer. And if I don't see the trailer....maybe I won't see the movie! Hopefully more people will protest this and refuse to watch trailers on IMDB until the pre-trailer ads are removed.

There are too many places on the web where you can see trailers without ads. This policy will just drive people to those sites.

Personally, I don't even watch trailers on IMDB if they show an ad. I can type "[movie's name] trailer" and watch it on Youtube five times faster.
