Idea: How about numbering the paragraphs in the Guide and providing #xLegal and technical documents frequently have numbered paragraph and/or lines. For that matter, The Bible numbers chapters and verses. This makes is easier to reference a specific paragraph.
links in the Guide. That would make it a lot easier for your overworked
folks to point the way to well intentioned but misguided people like me. :-)

I don't want you to go to a lot of work, but this would be helpful in refining your excellent idea and to determine its feasibility. Since you contribute more information to IMDb than I do by a couple orders of magnitude, you have a better sense of what is useful.
I find it much easier to discuss a concrete example rather than discuss how many angels can dance onto of the period at the end of this sentence.

Rewriting 'http://www.imdb.com/updates/guide/characters' and adding sub-links will take me only a few minutes, but what do I do with it when I'm done? Do you have a sandbox system?
