I have a chronological list with all the films I saw in 2013 and I rated them all. Now I saw some films more than once and when I add a film a second time to that list it won't count the rating on the right where it says "Rated x of y titles". Can you fix this?

For test purposes I just created a list that includes 3 titles: Zero Dark Thirty twice, Argo once. I saw and rated both films. Yet the counter said "Rated 2 of 3 titles". It should either say "3 of 3" or "2 of 2". Please correct this bug as soon as possible.

I'm sorry, but is the technical staff even reading here? Or do I have to post this issue somewhere else?

In this list, I have The Apartment repeated five times. The page indicate that:
You and This List
Rated 1 of 5 titles

I rated the film The Apartment only once. Therefore the number of films rated is correct.

Now it comes down to definitions. There are five individual items in the list. Should IMDb count the number of items in the list or the number of unique items? Counting the number of items in a list is easy, simply trace through the items on the list and increment a counter.

Counting the number of unique items on a list is more difficult. It is also the less obvious count to track.

Conversely, if IMDb were to implement your suggestion, some other user could easily complain that there is a bug because the total number of items in the list is not given.

If Dan's explanation wasn't good enough then it'd help if you explain.

This has now been flagged as "Not a problem" - bumping this isn't going to help, if the promoted response doesn't address the problem then you'll need to state your case.

Emperor, It's very simple. It does not say "Rated 15 out pf 15 titles" for examples, if I include a title twice although I rated all the titles on the list. I rated 100% of the titles, but it does not show accordingly, therefore the problem still exists. What solution imdb will apply to solve this issue is not up to me.

The argument
"I rated the film The Apartment only once. Therefore the number of films rated is correct."
is not valid.

I just unrated the title I have included twice. Then I rated each of the identical titles directly on the list, so i rated each of the titles once. When I refresh, it's displayed incorrectly again.

Obviously, the bug still exists. Please solve it as soon as possible.
