Hello! There is a slight technical problem with calculations. When I go to Your Lists page, it says Your Ratings (3,740), whereas Your Ratings page only counts 3,738 titles which should be the correct number. How can I get my numbers to match?

Someone else reported something similar - I can't find it now but it seemed to come from duplicates, but I can't quite figure out how that works on the Your Ratings section.

I'll try and dig up the previous post as it might cast more light on it.

That's the one! I did think I'd replied to it, but apparently not.

Thank you for the prompt reply! Indeed I thought something like that might be the reason, although this discrepancy has been there since Your Ratings list was made available a couple of years ago and I've been carefully trying to avoid any double ratings for the same movie. Anyway, let's hope I will some day be able to say for certain how many movies I've actually seen. :) This is by all means a great feature IMDb.com has and I've been using it to keep my account since the early days.

It looks like this can happen, even if you were careful, as it might count deleted entries or merged ones.

I keep a separate Watched list and occasionally crosscheck the two to ensure they are the same.

Yes, so do I, therefore I know two less should be correct.
