This is one of those really(!) obscure ones for which I have no title, names of cast members, or director. Possibly British. Could be as early as mid to late 30s. Basic premise: The Gods decide to give celestial powers to a random man on earth. His ego and delusions of godhood eventually corrupt him. At one point to demonstrate his power he stops the rotation of the planet. As everything is torn asunder, he begs the gods to forgive his arrogance and reset the rotation. Thanks in advance! :-)
