'OSCARXX BADGES' ... I have rated movies from 2005-2015, however, the only badges that are showing, are 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015.
I would appreciate it if some-one could please add the badges for 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011.
Thank you!

From http://www.imdb.com/help/show_leaf?userprofile (see highlighted text):
We currently do not have the ability to retroactively issue badges based on lists, so if you've already rated all these films, simple unrate/rerate one of the films and the badge will be issued. The badges may take as along as 24 hours to issue. If you unrate one of the films on the list the badge will disappear within 24 hours. There is currently no notification for a badge issuance.
We have a message board thread to discuss badges (including any suggestions you have on new badges)
What are the Badges?Badges are accomplishments that we have designated as worthy of earning a badge. Everyone has a Tenure badge based on how long they have had an account on IMDb, and other badges are either automatically assigned or earned. Available badges are on our Badge Detail page.

"Badges are accomplishments that we have designated as worthy of earning a badge."
After all these years and all my time spent watching movies, are you actually stating 'I am not worthy' of these badges, that I have earned?
These badges aren't based on lists, they're based on the fact IMDb says I've rated them, and I have.
It seems a lot for me to do, given it took a very short time for 7 badges to be issued by you a few days ago.
Cheers

Did you try what Col's post recommends? If you've rated them all, unrating then re-rating one should fix it (it seems to have always worked before). I can't see how that is "a lot to do." i literally takes about a second to do.

We are not sure what you mean by "a lot for you to do"
If you visit the badge page @ http://www.imdb.com/badge/ you will find the lists for the missing Oscar years:
If you visit the badge page @ http://www.imdb.com/badge/ you will find the lists for the missing Oscar years:
Rate the Oscar Highlights Films: 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005For example, the 2011 Oscar list is at http://www.imdb.com/list/ls058947939/ so first check you have voted for all the titles. If you have already voted for everything then simply click the [x] in the ratings bar for one title to delete one of your votes and then immediately re-vote for it. This should trigger the badge to be issued.

ATTENTION: MR. NEEDHAM!
I would not know how to contact you privately/personally, so I will say it all here and hope you get to see it. If you do get this, feel free to move it to your private inbox. I'd welcome your response.
I wanted to reach out and apologize to you for coming across insolent after your original reply, which seems to have been removed.
Mr. Needham, if I offended you in any way, I am truly sorry. It was not said intentionally; It is not the person I am. As an grown adult and parent to 6 (including a disabled child), I am supposed to be their role model and the one that teaches right from wrong! This time, I was the one in the wrong and though ashamed, I own it.
It is by no means an excuse, but my having a terminal illness and suffering chronic pain, my day-to-day reactions can be skewed. When, to most people, things seem simple and obvious; at times for me, be it my treatment and medications, things seem quite the opposite. It is then frustration kicks in, and unfortunately, people who in no-way deserve it, are caught up in it.
I have been a member for over a decade, but only recently, because of my illnesses, IMDb has become my lifeline and best friend and in so many ways! Movies have always been my passion, having watched/rated over 15,000, from as young as I can remember. My one wish, is to make sure they are ALL transferred from my spreadsheets to my ratings page! I'm happy knowing my family has promised they'll finish it, if need be, one way or the other!
IMDb has become the greatest distraction/escape, from all the doom and gloom I'm having to deal with. I've recently become quite involved in Beta testing and contributing data which I've found to be cathartic and keeps me on my toes. It's a shame I don't live closer to experience one of your Awards nights. I've seen the site grow so fast in the relatively short time I've been a member and then to hear celebrities mention it at the Golden Globes... well, you know you've made it then, don't you?! Congratulations!
I hope you will accept my sincerest apology... there was no excuse for it.
Sincerely,
a-movie-fan
PS: As a matter of interest, my partner and youngest daughter wanted to know if you sell any IMDb merchandise, stickers, t-shirts, hats, etc.? It may sound morbid, but IMDb will play as big a part in my farewell, as it is as we speak.

Nice post. Of note, I suggested they sell merchandise in a suggestion thread and it got marked "not planned" by staff...

Well, that's a real shame isn't it? I thought it was a good idea too!
We had something very unique planned for me when, let's just say, my time expires. We're not going traditional, if you know what I mean! It's going to be covered in movie pics from all my hundreds of Empire magazines! My.kids were hoping to add some bright black and yellow to it. Why not be different, hey?
Cheers!!

PS - thanks for the compliment.
I actually left you a nice post on one of your threads today. It was regarding the help you and your wife give to people. I just typed it onto a recent thread as the original was closed. Try find it or I'll send link later.
Thanks again.
Cheers mate!

I saw it, thanks for the kind words.
Funny, my Dad and I were just talking about burial plans last night and about not going traditional. He, for many years, studied the Kennedy Assassination. He has every book written about it, he even wrote one and has another he's been working on for years, and said he wants to be in a t-shirt that says, "Oswald didn't do it!" instead of a suit and tie. It made me laugh...I suggested, "I'm just a patsy!" but people might not get the reference. Of course, me, I'll probably just be holding my guitar...
