When I was adding information to the April 6, 2011 episode of Late Show with David Letterman, (the one with Eva Longoria's wardrobe malfunction), I made the effort to find the episode of The Young and the Restless that Dave showed a clip of from her time on that show so I could include it in the Movie Connections. When the data was added, the Movie Connections page just listed The Young and the Restless, not the particular episode. Can this be fixed? Thank you.

AFAIK you can't do a Movie Connection to link one TV episode to another TV episode

I am not sure what happened in Jason's situation, since I would expect that if a Movie Connection to a TV episode were submitted incorrectly, the connection would be rejected altogether rather than being converted to a connection to the series.

One lives and learns, or should do.
If you don't do the latter then ther's not much point in doing the former :)

The best way to fix the listed connection is by submitting a correction and replacing the title "The Young and The Restless" with the episode title.
I understand that you had tracked down the episode at one time, looking at Ms. Longoria's filmography, I see that she has 149 episode credits on that series which will make it difficult to identify the exact episode; however, I did find some online references here and here. Does this help ring a bell to the 2003 episode, possibly in August?

I found it on tv.com. . It was Episode 101, August 14, 2003. This was the end of Eva's run on the show. I found the problem. There isn't a page for that episode on here.
BTW, this is actually emblematic of a much bigger problem. Whoever has been adding episodes couldn't be bothered to break them down into seasons. Episodes are listed by year, but, as for seasons, it only says "1|Unknown."

For some very long running continuous series that do not use seasons (typically, soap operas, talk shows, and newscasts), episode numbers are all within season 1 (and so your episode number should be in the format of 1.1284 etc).

Thanks for the post.
Once the episode is live, you can use the Edit Page button at the bottom of the page to submit the connection.
