Which one of these films, who have these words in the title,”The Spy Who ...”, is your favorite? And yes certain titles are being deliberate placed last in order to force people to read through the list.

Send your coded replies here.. (That second dot is a microdot in honor of “Arabesque” (1966).)

“The Spy Who Came In From The Cold” is my pick. It is a great addition to any list involving spies and intrigue.

Suggestion: might be a good idea to ensure that exact "The Spy..." titles are there, even going as far as to adding all of them to list notes aking to "The Spy Who Loved Me" with title in bold. It might seem redundant from the first sight, but I've just scrolled through list and several titles are not in English and will appear so for many users some of whom might be puzzled with the situation.

In my case Le spie amano i fiori (The Spy Who Loved Flowers) and Tod eines Fremden (The Spy Who Never Was) both appear with original titles so I assume it might be the case for many countries.

Also, any plans on The Man Who poll suggestion? ;)

Okey .. sorry no plans . . . Yet for a “The Man Who ..” poll. But I can think of two Hitchcock films that would fit that poll. Both versions of his “The Man Who Knew Too Much”.

Oh, man. You got me going with “The Man Who...” I had remembered “The Man Who Loved Cat Dancing”., and was looking that up when I saw the film versions Victor Hugo’s horror classic “The Man Who Laughs”. I had started to look through the images of those film’s when I saw this image of Conrad Veidt in the 1928 version, I finally understand who was the visual inspiration for a Character in the “Batman”comics. Tell me who do you see from Batman when you look at this picture of Conrad Veidt from “The Man Who Laughs”?

Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999) is the only one I've seen. Great fun though.

My vote: The Spy Who Came in from the Cold

May I suggest one edit to the intro? ('Just a comma after "yes.")

Can anyone confirm that this is the first poll to ever feature an obvious actual porn film as an option?
Porn parody or not?

The Spy who Boned Me has some very questionable actresses names.

No, The Spy Who Boned Us (2004) is not a porn film, just a low budget movie with rather questionable choice in poster design, title and, well, many actresses with odd names and pseudonyms. In fact you can see the trailer (approved for all audiences... by production company) here, on director's YouTube channel. It is indescribably odd and looks more like $4K then $4M. Actually, I have a suspicion that with these production values the budget listed on IMDb is not a real one - that doesn't look $4M even by 2004 standards. If it is real I can't comprehend on what exactly it was spent.

Edit: What on Earth Vince Clarke forgot in it?..

I can see it now. Some Actor/actress or somebody involved with The Spy Who Boned Us (2004) will be asking to remove them from this as a credit. They will make some rational reason to remove their credit. LOL

Nah, I doubt it. I once did a short film named The Born Defeaction (2012) and then a sequel called The Porn Identification (2013) (although original title of the latter is in Ukrainian). Amazingly enough, while people from time to time request deleting their pages or credits from something (which I'm usually not doing, maximum change to newer pseudonym with intact "(as)" attributes) oddly enough no one ever requested being deleted from these two titles, despite some of the people who appeared in them now work in rather large companies and other serious ventures.

Stephen Atwood, I had reservations about that entry too. But as far as I could check, it wasn’t porn. But still I had reservations about it since it had no box office listed on BoxOfficeMojo.com. There was one that I did leave off the list because it was a porno: “The Spy Who Came” (1969).
