A new user took over my name, James Gallo, erased two of my credits, kept two(one newly added), and added their additional credits. I've had no luck contacting them...as they are in Australia. What's my next step? The two credits of mine that remain are "Infared", and "C wright Skcetch". "The Trainee" web series credits have been removed.
The other credits are the James Gallo (2). As well as some personal info. I'd like to add my picture etc. It looks as if I can go in and just erase their credits, but think I would still run into the same problem, until the split is complete. Thank you for your help.

I'd just wait a bit before making any moves - it might be there has been a merge request, if so staff might be able to split it apart again. It'd also be worth doing some research - are the other credits actually for a James Gallo or someone with a similar name? The more you can find out, the easier it will be to fix all this (and stop it happening again).

Was this The Trainee you had credits for? Were you in every episode?

It'd be unusual for IMDB to remove credits without evidence that you weren't in the series, which also makes me wonder if this also due to a merge request (which could make some credits disappear).

Anyway I'll keep an eye on your page over the next week or so to see if there have been any movement:

Hello. How do you know it is him who has submitted changes? Any registered user can submit data or request corrections. Do you know for sure?

Is this someone of same or similar name? If so, you could do a "split," but this does not work well unless all credits are clearly separated by department. Such as, two Joe Smiths, one is a director and one an actor, all credits on one page (creates a Joe Smith (I) and Joe Smith (II).

Otherwise, you'll need to go to the inaccurate credit and click "edit page" at the episode and send the credit to your page.

There is no function to "erase" anything and credits usually are extremely difficult to change. If you know who these credits belong to, again, atnthe title's page, correct them to his page. If he doesn't have a page, but has same name, don't add a Roman numeral and let it create a separate page for him.

Let us know if I misunderstood and fill in the blanks and we can assist you further

Emperor,

Yes that was the link to the web-series. I was in all three episodes, but only featured in the first two. "Orientation" and "Meet Madame SnowBlood". I see now my name has been removed from their credits page.

I'll do a little research on the credits to see if they are all for sure the other "Australian", James Gallo. Thank you for following up, and keeping an eye out.

Also under personal info. He added his height. Which I have not.

BluesmanSF, Your right, I guess anyone could have submitted this info. And I think I used incorrect terminology with delete...should of been edit.
It would seem there only two James Gallo's, both primarily actors.

I sent a request to split the page yesterday. Using the roman numerals....in an attempt to keep possession of James Gallo(I). I'll take another look tonight. Thank you for your info.

If both have acting credits, not credits from different departments, you should not have done a "split" as the credits will be difficult to separate. You should have corrected the credits individually. We'll have to wait and see what happens. It likely will take more than a day or two though.

Indeed - it is why I suggested waiting and doing a bit of research in the meantime. You'll now have to wait until the split has gone through before you can do anything else. Best not to fiddle with it until then.
