People keep vandalizing my credits!

These people who are extras on a film that were bashing me on Facebook keep removing my name from a film's page, every now and again. I have to keep putting it back up. How can you stop people from tampering with my credits?

Specifically, the movie is called Redcon-1. I am Peter Anderson (XXXV) and "Zombie" is my character's name. Other people are also credited as Zombie, Survivor, etc.

Hi Peter -

If your cast credit is continually removed from the title page, the best way for our staff to verify it is to provide further evidence.  Please post a screen grab of your on-screen credit for the film here and our staff will take a look.

The film is not out yet, so I don't know who is credited in the actual movie. Everybody associated with the film have basically registered accounts on IMDb and then added themselves to the page, but they keep removing my name now and again because particular extras harassed me on a Facebook group about the film. They just sign in and delete my name to be spiteful. They're not even in charge either. They're just extras, like me, logging on, then tampering with my credit. This is the second time now.

Here is my newest contribution.

Hi Peter -

Thanks for posting the additional information.  If the title has not yet been released, can you provide other evidence to help verify that you worked on the title, such as pay stubs or receipts, call sheets, contracts showing that you worked on the production, or mentions of your role on the production in media articles from reputable third party sources.

Please post any screen grabs or evidence links here and our staff can take a look.

Thus far, there's only a lot of posts from forums, but other links list my name because it was up on IMDb until they started removing me. And I think I know who's been doing it. https://www.google.co.uk/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=redcon-1+...

I'm on here. http://bigboxstudios.com/movie-4096528-redcon-1

Hi Peter,

Thanks for your response however these links will not be enough to list you on the title at present. Do you have any other form of documentation or picture evidence to prove your involvement?

Then we'll be happy to take another look.

Not at present, I'm afraid. It was not even the production team who submitted most of the names. It was people just registering on IMDb, then adding themselves. It's very unlikely the people that were the zombies will get on-screen credits anyway. Apparently, there was over 1500 extras that played humans and zombies, so they don't credit walkers in The Walking Dead. Do they? I didn't even know people were allowed to take cameras there to snap pictures, and I only had a basic phone with me that day.

I would assume all those other people that purposefully added themselves to the database without permission would have to be deleted now too, until the official film comes out. It would not be fair if my name was taken off by trolls, and theirs was allowed to stay on there. The film is not due out until some point next year, so until then, I don't know who was credited or not. But wishful thinking, as they say.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for your response. At present we won't be able to list your credit on the title as it cannot be verified but as soon as the film comes out and you can provide a screenshot of you in the film or listed in the credits we will be more than happy to re-examine the case.

Thanks for understanding.

Thanks, Will.

May somebody approve Contribution #161112-194636-725000 for me? It takes forever for my edits to be approved. I made some minor alterations to my biography as much of it was better reserved as trivia. Cheers!

Hello. I've tried to erase everybody who plays an extra, because like I said, it's not fair that my name was deleted by trolls, and theirs stays up when they too just added themselves without giving any proof. Extras are generally never credited, and all those people (other than the main cast) just added themselves.

This film has well over 1000 extras as soldiers and zombies, all mainly non contracted participants. The movie is due for release next year, but until then, nobody really has a right to go on IMDb and add themselves to the credits, even though that does tend to happen on databases that anyone can edit. If they are in the credits of the eventual release, then they should go back up. Until then, maybe they ought to be removed.
