After my mother's death, I went through a lot of trouble to get a photo and biography of her uploaded to your site 2 years ago. Her name is Wesley Marie Tackitt. It has disappeared in the last 6 months, along with many of her contemporarys'. I was to understand for people who were retired and/or dead, this was a legacy service that would go on in perpetuity.

Hello, Francesca Brunner-Kennedy.
Photos added through IMDb Pro last only as the services do, so if there was no payment, then photos will disappear. They can be re-added by paying again.
Pictures can also be added through another service, Title Scorecard. It would lack the convenience of IMDb Pro (for example the ability to choose the primary photograph: IMDb editors will do that), but these won't disappear and are usually what you see on pages of deceased actors. It might be possible to get in touch with the studios or distribution companies responsible for some of the movies and add photographs of your mother to IMDb through such means.

Hi Francesca,
Thanks for your post and patience!
Given the situation in which the image was originally uploaded to IMDb (as part of a Family Tribute Waiver Request), this should remain displayed on the name page. I've re-instated this for you now and it looks to be live and visible:
https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0846230
I've taken steps to ensure this is no longer removed and I'm sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused you.
Have a great new year!
Thanks,
Joel

Joel,
Thank you for your quick reply and action. However, I noticed at the same time my mother’s photo disappeared that many of her friends’ and contemporaries’ photos disappeared as well. The ones I have particularly noticed are Matthew Tobin (born 8/10/29) and Lillian Adams (born 5/13/22). This makes me suspect that this was not just an isolated incident, but an across the board clean-up that inadvertently impacted a lot of tributes. Please investigate that.
