As you can see, in the film Pitch Black
there is a character referred to as "Jack/Jackie". The credits did not list actors with their character names. Knowing "Jackie" is a spoiler and it's a name that is never used. It's also not listed on any other website I could find that lists credits for the movie.
Shouldn't the "/ Jackie" be removed?

Did you get that it is frustrating to dig into really old titles? Tarzan?

If the character was listed that way in the on-screen credits, the first point in the guide allows a possible exception to avoid spoilers. If the character name does not appear in the on-screen credits then the same guide (towards the bottom of the page) explicitly forbids spoilers.
Either way, if it's a spoiler, it should probably be removed. (although I should probably mention that I'm not familiar enough with this movie to say whether it's actually a spoiler or not, I'll have to trust your judgement on that!)

Strange. I didn't see your reply and I refreshed this page a few times while I was considering my own reply. Seems unusual for staff to react that quickly to a post for it to be gone within minutes; are there automated systems deleting posts here?

Yes, there is a filter, but it reacts before posting, and I had no error messages when uploading screenshot and posting here. It was manual reaction that seems to be less and less strange with each next day.

Hi MiketheWhistle,
I have confirmed via the end credits of the title that the character name is listed as Jack/Jackie. If you are certain the name of 'Jackie' to be a spoiler you can submit a correction to remove Jackie from the character name. You may want to include an explanation for why it should be removed to help our data editors in verifying that it falls under the spoiler category.
Thanks
Meredith

I'd actually be more willing to just make a submission cuz in this case I think it's pretty strong that jackie is wrong, but the problem is that if declined there isn't a clear reason given. If there were a more clear reason vs non-nonsensical categorical rejects, I just submit it. Unfortunately I'm anticipating rejection and trying to head it off. I don't know.

Don't make a submission unless you know you are correct.
There is plenty to fix without asking questions.
