The name of the director on Close to Home S2 E5, Square Pegs, has been incorrectly spelt, it should be Clark without a letter e on the end.
See the correct spelling on this episode https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0863335/?ref_=hm_rvi_tt
Here is a screen shot from S2 E5 showing the correct spelling.

Ticket #200720-125327-831000
Please can it be corrected
Thanks
Don

As I fully expected, the submission has been declined although I cannot seen what further evidence should be needed!
As well as the screen shot from the end credits of S2 E5 shown above, I have now attached a screen shot from the IMDb page from a previous episode (S2 E3) of the series with the correct spelling pointed out with an arrow.
Plus a screen shot taken from from Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Close_to_Home_(1989_TV_series)#Series_two_(1990) showing their entries for this series showing the correct spelling.

Now can the spelling of the director's name please be corrected?
Thank you
Don

When you send in the correction are you adding an (as Alistair Clark) attribute to the Alistair Clarke credit? Or are you changing the actual person who is being credited as director? If you are changing the person then which Alistair Clark in the IMDb are you changing it to?

Hi,
Thank you for your reply.
I'm changing the actual person to Alistair Clark (v), here https://www.imdb.com/name/nm11648171/?ref_=tt_ov_dr

Actually looking at it again, it would be better to change the attribute as it looks like it is indeed the same person with multiple listings....

Thanks to sienel who caused me to re-evaluate my request I see that I have made a major error.
All the responses to my request for a change simply implied that I needed more evidence, which sent me off to find more to back up my claim, rather than look at it again.
If the reply had been something like please look again as we believe that the original entry is correct, I may not have been so blinkered in my response.
sienel's post which asked if I was trying to add an attribute made me question "why would I do so?" Which in turn made me dig deeper & look back at my work. I then saw that I had made the mistake of not checking properly & that both directors were infact the same person but with a different spelling of the surname....
A major error on my part which I have learned from, my apologies to all & a thank you to sienel. Now to get the two names merged into one.
Thank you & my deepest apologies for complaining so much.
