I don't understand. Are you asking to be untagged from those photos because you are not in them? If so, what is the name of the person in them? Or are you asking to be untagged from those photos because you don't like them?

Basically, though I am featured in these photos, I would like to not be tagged in them. The producer of the short film these pics are from is aware, and is fine with my name being removed. Is this possible?

Why, you are a fine American looking young man. At least it wasn't a picture of *me* heh :)

There is a link in these forums to send a message directly to help desk, it's near where you log in... Use that link and tell them your concerns, it may take a few weeks for them to get to it but they usually always respond the few times I have had to use the direct link.

They make it hard to find, but it is in these forums- your get satisfaction I'd has to be exactly the same as your IMDB account info.

The user names don't have to be the same. You need to be logged in to your IMDb account, though, and that's where the reply is sent.

Since all the info is already here, I can't think of any reason to double up and also send it to the help desk.

Generally IMDb will not remove accurate data from its database. Since those photos were uploaded to the film's page - and presumably paid for - and the producer obviously wished to identify you in them, it is unlikely that IMDb would untag your name. If the photo was removed from the Title page (by the uploader) then it would be removed from your page - but I am not sure of IMDb's position on this type of removal.

You need to remember that the Name page is not actually your name page; rather it is IMDb's Name page about you. Therefore it is IMDb's wishes, not yours, that control.
