I added many suggestions (thanks) but I'm not sure I will add the "superhero" ones, I might even reconsider the "Star trek" ones.

Can you please specify which clothing the left options work for, thanks!

p.s...as much as i love sherlock, the deerstalker cap was from the books and films (although rathbone never wanted to wear it)...but i don't think i would consider it an iconic item from tv...

You have Heisenberg spelled incorrectly.

Stetson should be capitalized (it is a brand name).

There is already a poll for TV hats - http://www.imdb.com/poll/MauPz6n4POk/ - maybe leave hats off your list and refer to this poll?

I suggest using a Rhoda picture where she's wearing a scarf.

I don't think I was interested in cartoon characters, because when you think about it, which animated character doesn't have a trademark costume, they all wear the same thing everytime.

So forget about the cartoons.

Now, I'm more on the iconic thing, not trademark costume, in the original poll, there was also Don Draper's black tie and suit, and I was thinking, it's not like we generally disguise ourselves as Don Draper (or for that matter, Ally McBeal), it's got to be the kind of outfit you would immediately associate to the character and likely not to be worn by someone else.

Of course a black leather jacket can relate to Fonzie or Travolta in "Grease" but that's why I mentioned "iconic", if it was just "trademark", there would be countless possibilities, I'm not even sure some options right now fit the poll.

So who to keep now?

And the poll was made prior to the "hats", when I made it, I wanted something that would cover every possible item of clothing by picking the most iconic of each category. In fact, you could make polls about bow ties, or suspenders or dresses... I even did one with glasses.

It doesn't really matter anyway, we all know which items will end at the Top 5

Not sure if this is a Dan or General Poll Admin question but:

Seeing as the character-based polls haven't actually disappeared (only the lists on which they're based on themselves have), are poll admins going to be publishing poll re-use suggestions? Just wondering since the character polls haven't actually disappeared... it'd be nice if they don't!
