What is your favorite, preferably a comedy, heist film where at least one person or the entire team are over 50, or 60 years old, and have a lot of grey hair? These are not only just people doing "one last job". Sometimes, they are doing their first job!

The list is at https://www.imdb.com/list/ls068419870/

A) I love the title especially. Plus, I like how you phrased the scope.
B) Robot & Frank  is my vote.
C) Old Man and the Gun is an upcoming 2018 Robert Redford film.

So I take it you approve. Thank you. That means a great deal since you suggest so many of the entries even before the list was created!

I like the scene in Going in Style, one wonders if reality is inspiring the movies or the other way around.Police search for gang who fled raid in London on mobility scooter

Another true story! Jim Broadbent, Michael Caine, Ray Winstone to star The total stolen may have a value of up to £200 million, the incident has been called the "largest burglary in English legal history." http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/michael-caine-ray-winstone-crook-10514483

The Hatton Garden Job (2017) is the same story and was released earlier this year. In April 2015, the Hatton Garden Safe Deposit Company, an underground safe deposit facility in London's Hatton Garden area, was burgled by 4 elderly men.

Another one, I couldn't remember the name of Stand Up Guys (2012). A pair of aging stickup men try to get the old gang back together for one last hurrah before one of the guys takes his last assignment - to kill his comrade.

Both are added. For "The Hatten Garden Job" all you had to say is Micheal Caine and I would have checked out the film.

Another list, "Favorite Bumpy Train Ride", Jen made a suggestion that is perfect for this list too: The Grey Fox (1982).

How come there aren't Old Gal Heist movies? I couldn't think of a one, The closest I could come is Mad Money (2008) where Keaton is 62 and the upcoming Ocean's Eight (2018) where there is cluster of some 48-52 age actresses,

What's the point of including a film that won't be released until next year?

FYC:

Sorry it took so long. Naturally most of yours get in.
As for "What's the point of including a film that won't be released until next year?". Normally, I wouldn't. But since I'm almost always slow and late in getting truly good topical polls started, I thought by including that one, I would have one up and ready when the time comes. After all, It's Robert Redford!

The title seems a bit strange.
May I suggest changing it to: You're Never Too Old to Pull a Heist

Or: Favorite "You're Never Too Old to Pull a Heist" Film?

Typo:
What is your favorite, preferably a comedy, heist film where at least one person...

I agree the title should be You're Never Too Old to Pull a Heist.

The grey hair thing seems silly. If they're old, they're old. What does that have to do with the color of their hair?

FYC:
The Good Thief

How is this different from these other polls?

Which “the good thief”?
How does it differ? Age. If you don’t think age discrimination exist, then you are wrong. It exists. In most of these films, the mentioning of their age is a big factor.

What about 'Topkapi'? That's an old heist movie, playing in Istanbul. With Peter Ustinov. There was a midfifty actor in it, Robert Morley - born 1908 - playing Cedric Page, a member of the heist-team.

'Good poll and great title! 'Some very good choices, too, so I'll have to deliberate before I vote.

May I suggest a few small edits?

What is your favorite heist film, preferably a comedy, where at least one person or the entire team are over 50 or 60 years old, and have a lot of grey hair? These are not only just people doing "one last job." Sometimes, they are doing their first job!

By the way, I love this:  After voting, to report the crime, click here(AKA, "to discuss the topic"). :)

I also love "Sometimes, they are doing their first job!" Lol. 'Good intro. all around.

Unless I'm forgetting a much older actor in the film, 'Ocean's Eleven' doesn't qualify for "over 50 or 60," as the oldest was George Clooney, who was only 40 at the time.

Actually, I would change the "50 or 60" to 60 or 65. All of the options would still qualify except for 'Ocean's Eleven,' of course. Under 60 seems way too young: that would mean that, if a film was made today, Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Keanu Reeves, George Clooney, Benicio Del Toro, Sandra Bullock, Josh Brolin, Naomi Watts, Johnny Depp (all in their 50's) and several of the currently most bankable actors could qualify for this poll. Most of the actors and characters in this poll who are portrayed as older criminals are in their 70s.

Carl Reiner as Saul Bloom and Elliott Gould as Reuben Tishkoff ( the man who financed the heist) are the ones who qualify “Ocean’s Eleven ” for this list.
This list is more about the characters than the actors. But it doesn’t hurt to have the actor/actress of the same age too.
Btw, were you subtly trying to recommend Ocean’s Eight” by mentioning Sandra Bullock who is in that film. If you are, I have to say you are good at it. (BTW: Cate Blanchett, who is also in that same movie, is forty n .... well it is just simply rude form for a guy to talk about a woman’s age when she and Sandra don’t show it. (But it isn’t for a woman to do the same thing.))
