Will you take plurals?
The Lost Boys
The Newton Boys
The History Boys
The Birthday Boys
The Fabulous Baker Boys
The Sunshine Boys
The War Boys
The Pool Boys
The Jerky Boys
The Bromley Boys
The Cowboys
The Hardy Boys
The Zero Boys
The Whoopee Boys
The Wog Boy
The Butcher Boy
The Mudge Boy
The Paperboy
You could use David Mamet's version of The Winslow Boy.

Listen, I have changed the conditions but you get the idea of real short titles naming the main characters. It now reads as "These are movies with three or two or one words in the titles that usually begin with the word "The" or "That" and ends with last three letters of the last word "Boy" or "Boys". Which film is your favorite?

That is sort of confusing.
It would be more simple to say it's a list of titles that end with the word boy.

Good poll. From the list, my vote would be The Fabulous Baker Boys
FYC:
Wonder Boys: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0185014/?ref_=nv_sr_1 (a great film that would get my vote)
May I suggest some edits to the title and introduction?
"The . . . Boy" films (capitalize "Films:" only polls with properly capitalized titles are considered for placement on the home page)
These are movies with three or two or one words in the titles that usually begin with the word "The" or "That" and ends with last three letters of the last word "Boy" or "Boys". Which film is your favorite? (The first two sentences are a bit confusing and contain a lot of information that isn't necessary: I'd consider something simpler, such as "These are all movies with relatively short titles that all end with the word "boy." Which film is your favorite?")
Thank you! : )

Added and the conditions changed. I wanted titles that point to specific characters and not a general direction like "About A Boy" which I felt that one would steal this poll. Well, there is no way to avoid it now. So I committed the Hari Kari and entered "About A Boy" on the list. It is a shame because I wanted to give lesser known films like "The Geisha Boy" a fighting chance on this list. It is a marvelous little film that is respectful of the Japanese culture but it was forgotten in the era of political correctness. It's biggest flaw was that it was shot in Los Angles when it was to have been set in Tokyo, Japan. In fact, the inspiration for this list came from that film and the other Jerry Lewis films on this list. But alas "The Lost Boys", "About A Boy", "The Bellboy", "Hellboy", "The Sunshine Boys", "The Cowboys", "The Waterboy" and "The Fabulous Baker Boys" will slaughter it. Oh well.

Without trying to be rude, by the fact that you didn't pick up on jen's use of play on words when she wrote, "Pick a Derby for Derby Day" and what you just wrote now, that suspect that English is not your native language or that you are using a translator program. I'm I correct? The line that you are questioning is in reference to one of two English language conventions that has been known to give problems to people learning the language and translation programs: compound words - the act of creating a longer third word by combining two smaller words. What strange way I am going to write this next is done to force your translation program to post it the way I write it. On the list, there are five entries that contain compound words that use the word boy as part of the compound word: b-e-l-l-b-o-y, c-o-w-b-o-y-s, w-a-t-e-r-b-o-y, h-e-l-l-b-o-y, and p-a-p-e-r-b-o-y. The line you are question is about the last word in the title being ether the word "b-o-y" itself or a compound word using the letters "b-o-y".

Excuse me, but I don't think I am the one having trouble with the English language here.

i love that you wanted to give 'lesser known' films a chance...
it always annoys me when i scroll down the choices and there's always one that you know everybody will vote for, simply because it's the latest film to be released and they don't know any of the older ones or lesser known ones...that or it contains heath ledger's joker...
people have to widen their viewing habits...black and white films will not kill you...they surpass almost all of the movies made in the last few decades...and just because it didn't appear in your local multiplex, doesn't mean it's not worth seeing...in fact, they are truly the only ones worth seeing...
so bravo to you dgranger...keep up the good thoughts...
