The real Paul III was Alessandro Farnesse (1468-1549, term 1534-1549), and is known for his defense and expansion of slavery in the Papal States:

"In 1545 Paul repealed an ancient law that allowed slaves to claim their freedom under the Emperor's statue on Rome's Capitoline Hill, in view of the number of homeless people and tramps in the city. The decree included those who had become Christians after their enslavement and those born to Christian slaves. The right of inhabitants of Rome to publicly buy and sell slaves of both sexes was affirmed. Stogre (1992) asserts that the lifting of restrictions was due to a shortage of slaves in Rome. In 1548 Paul authorized the purchase and possession of Muslim slaves in the Papal states."

If 25 is not a fixed point I have some FYC:
Dolph Lundgren as Street Preacher in Johnny Mnemonic (1995) (a totally jaw-dropping performace you're not expecting from an action star in an all-over-the-place sci-fi)

25 is a fixed point, but mabe I would drop one or two of my own suggestions. If your suggestions are specially good or very better than the existing, I would even break the 25. But I really want to keep it fix. ;) So as it is in the title.

Was Eli Sunday a priest or a preacher or minister? I can't remember but he'd get my vote. If all of the characters aren't actual priests, you could just change the intro to "priest, preacher, or minister."

Perhaps the High Sparrow from Game of Thrones would be a popular option?

Breu, I think you should keep the priest from Dark. And why does it have to be just 25? :)

Hi, Jessica. :D
I like the number. It sounds round. A quarter of 100. I think that more than 25 is a little much. It's better to concentrate on a lower number, but also to have more qualified options in it. Is there a special reason why you want to keep the priest of dark? Maybe I would skip another one, if I get the point.

Yes, but on the other hand I have no fitting image for the character, only the poster. I have to do a little work now. But later I will think of which priest I'll kick. Maybe the one of the Thorn Birds. Which do you think is the most unimportant on the list?

I think that Father Ralph de Bricassart was a poor inclusion to begin with. He was not really a "shady saint'.

You're right. I took Ralph de Bricassart from the list and put back Noah from "Dark". I even found a better image. He now is option #7 the number of the sin. ;)

"Normally a priest is a special person to rely on"

Not if you live in Greece. Priests of various ranks have been arrested for (among other things) rape, child rape, blackmail, smuggling antiquities, and promotion of hate speech.

My favorite has to be Stylianos Kornaros (1912-1999), Bishop of Preveza (term 1952-1980). He was a torturer whie serving as the military priest in a number of prison islands (reserved for political prisoners).  He became much more famous in 1979, when a sex tape involing him and an unnamed woman was leaked to the press. An investigation of his personal life discoved that he had coerced the wives of several of his employees to have sex with him, promising to secure higher pay for the husbands if they complied or having the husbands fired if the wives refused. He was forced to step down in 1980, despite threatening to expose the homosexual activities of 8 other bishops if they dared to vote against him in the Church Council. Dimos Dicoudis, this comment was caught in the spam filter, perhaps due to Greek and/or URL. Fished it out.

Also, wow, Kornaros sounds like an interesting figure. Were there any attempts of making a movie out of his story?..

Yes. "O Agios Prevezis... kai i papadia" (1982). In English "The Saint of Preveza and the Priest's wife". Note it is common to refer to Bishops as Saints in Greece. The film has an entry in the Internet Movie Database:  https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0231106/?ref_=fn_tt_tt_6

Very interesting. But sadly there are no images of Stylianos Kornaros' character in 'O Agios Prevezis... kai i papadia' on the IMDb movie site you linked. If there were, you could have suggested him earlier. And the poll runs. But he clearly is a wolf in sheep's wool. Ugly guy! Very ugly guy! And maybe he would have been a runner in this poll.
