I didn't mean making 21 polls about it, I'm pretty sure if we were to cover all the memorable death scenes in cinema's history, we'll get near a big number like 100... there must be like 10 memorable Disney death scenes, 20 iconic villains' demises, 30 heartbreaking heroes or main protagonists' death moments, 15 hilarious death scenes etc. etc. It's not much a repartition by genre, more by characters'.
I mean "death" is just a broad thing, it's not like making a poll about the most memorable urination moments in movies :)
I'm not sure I feel like creating these lists, I wanted to make a "death" poll many years ago and I ended up with more than 50 options so I turned it into "memorable quote before dying" :)

By the way, this is not a reflection on this poll (an awesome one) but the idea behind it.
I hear yah. It would take some doing, though - to create more lists. On this poll suggestion, I got a little lazy with the pictures. But, on another poll suggestion I have out there on notable scenes using beds - I had to download about half of the pictures in there and wait for them to clear - LOL. In the movie "The Omen" itself (the original), I can think of two very memorable death scenes alone. The girl hanging herself from the window, and the priest getting a metal spike through him from the top of the church. But, neither pic is in IMDb. And there are others ... Maggie falling from the corner window at the top of the building in the first "Child's Play". The blonde girl at the very beginning of the first "Lethal Weapon" falling silently down the side of the building to land on the car.... there are TONS of good movie scenes out there.
I still might create more lists for this issue, but my goal was to compile the generally accepted most iconic and memorable death scenes and, for the most part, I think I have.

I would have thought that she might recommend one of the death scenes from Resident Evil. Especially the one where 73 & 3/4 Zombies get it with just one shot.

Speaking of Zombies ... lol, in the remake of Dawn of the Dead where they are sitting on top of the Mall roof and they are trying to find zombies that look like different celebrities and shooting them....haha! Loved that scene.

I couldn't make a decision on this one... But I was surprised we didn't see Frank Sinatra's death from "Von Ryan's Express"... that one I didn't expect first time I saw it...
I remember this movie ... it is a notable death scene, but not one I would consider to be one of Hollywood's best or better known ones. Kind of like Doctor Zhivago clutching at his heart when he runs after Lara. If this list had been made 30 or 40 years ago, I think it would have made it. But, thank you for the comment. :)
