Pretty good list. Are you sure A Walk in the Clouds should qualify as a comedy?

My vote Jerry Maguire or Groundhog Day. I like the list. But, I agree Walk in the Clouds doesn't belong, it is tagged drama & romance on IMDb.

Looks good. I didn't notice Four Weddings and a Funeral there before, maybe you added it. I don't think anything can compete with that one for me.

not too many on this list that i would watch again...but...i did love muriel's wedding (toni colette and rachel griffiths were brilliant)...(and i would add the michael keaton-geena davis film 'speechless', another one of my favorites)...

but still...my vote would have to go to one of my favorite woody films...'everyone says i love you'...

Hi Lana and welcome to the GS poll board,

This is a really good poll and great list; I generally hate rom-coms, except for Woody Allen's, and yet there are seven from this list in contention for my vote. I'll probably go with My Best Friend's Wedding because my other favorites are generally ranked highly, whereas I think MBFW is woefully under-regarded.

I'm not sure I agree with My Girl listed as a Rom-Com. I see it as more Romantic Drama, if anything. And wth people....French Kiss isn't even in the top 10 on results?? :)

Belle Epoque is my favorite of the films on your list, though I don't usually consider it a romantic comedy. (So I voted for it anyway, heh. Why not? It really is pretty wonderful.)

Fwiw, my own favorite 90's rom-coms: L.A. Story (1991); Late for Dinner (1991); Strictly Ballroom (1992); Tin Cup (1996); Autumn Tale (Conte d’automne) (1998); Mumford (1999).
