I think you def. need to include The Carmichael Show, Atlanta and Amen. The Carmichael Show just started its third season on NBC. And Atlanta was a smash for Donald Glover - it won a ton of awards including Golden Globes for best comedy or musical and best actor in a comedy or musical. Amen ran for five seasons in the '80s and starred Sherman Hemsley.

You can free up one spot by adding What's Happening Now in the notes of What's Happening - the later show was not well-regarded.

I second Jen's suggestions, especially Atlanta. Critics often consider it to be one of the best series of the past few years and it's widely considered to be innovative and important, garnering several awards for both Donald Glover and the series.

'Good poll.:-)  May I suggestion one small edit?

Which sitcom, starring a predominantly black cast, is your favorite? (adding a comma after "sitcom" -- that would be the most grammatically correct but no commas at all would also be grammatically ok)

My vote would probably go to The Jeffersons. I've never seen Blackish but want to check it out -- this list reminded me of that, so thank you, lol.
